I did the blue foam last night and it works well. I'm using LR 510 cartos during the day, as it's easier for me to swap flavors out at work with cartos. I'm liking both attys that came with LUX. They produce a cooler vapor similar to what I get from my Joye Stick V3, but vapor production seems better from the LUX. I typically prefer the warmer vapor I get from the LR cartos, but the LUX must put out more volts (a good thing) under load than the Riva as my cartos are getting very warm at tip when I power hit it for awhile. Somthing I do not experience with the same cartos on the Riva. Guess I"ll invest in 510 drip tips to spare my lips :)

You can pop out the mouthpiece of the 902 carts and put on the cartomizer to avoid the hot lips, I do it all the time, I prefer the flat tip though

Funny you talk about warmer vapor. One thing people who move from 510s to 902s say, is that the 510 is too hot and because of that, loses some flavor where the 902 keeps the flavor and vapor. To each his own though of course. I'm curious about cartos like I said though. Why are they easier to swap? I keep multlple flavors on different attys. How does it work with cartos?

The preference for cartos is just a personal choice for me. I tend to be a little sloppy sometimes with the atty/cart set up :)

With the cartos I just pop the cap off and top off as needed.

Got mine today and this thing rocks.

I got away from using Carts and have been using cartos for a while and went back to it with the LUX just to check it out.
And i can say this its the best Cart system I have came across. (And believe me I got a lot of Mods)

I opened the box about 1 HR ago and hit the first battery right out of the box and she works really good I am using the LR atty It will take a few days to brake in the atty. First impressions ill give it a 10

Nice packaging, nice looks, nice feel, works right out of the box like Tony said it would.

The finish on the battery is unlike the EGO it feels nice not slick like some but not textured either this is the best finish I have seen on a battery of this type.
Thanks Tony for a wonderful addition to my Ecig collection. People will hear about the LUX from me.

More in a few days after I run it through its paces. And if I can figure out how to post a photo on the ECF I will for now I will add the link to the photo I took today.

I ask just because I've never used one and don't understand them. If you don't refill them, they seem expensive and limited on juice - and if you do refill them, then why not get an easy to fill atty and cart? I must be missing something. I keep thinking I should just buy one though. Tony, weren't you testing 902 cartos?

You can refill them numerous of times but they fall off in performance much faster than a regular atomizer. I think why people prefer the cartomizers is the ease of convince that they one filled cartomier will last a long time, and how easy it is to refill them. Some people don't like messing with the blue foam fiddling with it to get the proper set up. If you have a 902 cart with blue foam set up right, it is just as easy to refill, and last just as long as a cartomizer in smoking length in my experience.

Exactly right - I use a paperclip instead of a toothpick though. :) In fact I rarely replace the foam. I do, but it takes a while. I'm not wasting remaining juice that way either. My initial fill is about 25 drops I guess. Then refills are 15 drops or so. I don't like to get too dry. Once I taste a difference, I'm done with that cart until I can refill it. I've tried other mods but non have seemed worth it to me compared to the difference some simple blue foam made.

paper clip at work -- tooth pick at home --- I like keeping the same foam also -- seems like the older the foam gets the softer it is and the more it conforms to the atty tip better.

Yup 20 -25 initially then 10 - 15 for refills.

I try and refill before I ever get the dry atty taste.
