Geesh! I take a break from the internets to catch up on stuff and all hell breaks loose, lol.

Love the tank, Mike! Very nice machined endcaps.

The inner diameter tightness is "dead on balls accurate" (that's an industry term)

The outer diameter is a bit tight, as was stated. I had to "clean up" the ends of my polycarbonate tubes and then still had to lube up the o-rings to get the caps back on. However, they are a nice snug fit and feel very secure - the fill screw contacting the cartomizer is a nice touch.

Is the aluminum anodized? JK That is a nice touch, I would only want food grade stainless steel or anodized aluminum for this and has been said the stainless is heavy.

Are the o-rings Buna Nitrile? They appeared to be but I think it is important to use a chemical resistant material.

Going thicker on the walls of the tubing might help minimizing cracking, I would at least do tests before committing to that. Although Lexan is "bulletproof" used in the proper configuration, it will crack fairly easy if sufficient stress is placed on it in the right way, such as a sharp blow near the edge at the right angle. I do think these tanks will be very hard to break as is and at least not prone to shatter.

I didn't have any stainless Mega Cartos around to try out so I used a small poly tube I had already pre-cut for one of my "homemade tanks". I put together some M1A1 tanks with 801 Fusions from IKV. The tube I used is only 7/8th" tall so I believe a 1" tube would probably work well for most cartos. I have a bunch of cartos kicking around - including some 808's, I think I have some time tomorrow, i'll take a few measurements and see what I think would work well fairly universally.

Paddrino - Awesome job on that video! Your videography skills as well as reviewing skills are quite impressive

I have attached a few photos of the M1A1 tank using a Fusion Cartomizer and a ~7/8th" tube for anyone interested:

I'm actually settling in, learning to have fun on here WITHOUT being the jerk that I was my first go round. It gets a little difficult when I'm flipping back and forth between ECF and Viper's Forum, having to remember to keep myself in check, but all in all... Not bad. Not bad at all.
:D .............

Thanks sir! Appreciate you watching!

I should have some dual coil megas in today from madvapes. So far the mega dual coils I have from altsmoke are a wonderful fit.

Mike, are there any cartos that anyone hasn't tried or listed yet that you want to see tested out?

I have a solution similar to what I use on my tanks for Mike. It would eliminate the screw entirely. Him and I need to talk once the water goes back down a bit here. :)

I'm worried about the screw snagging or catching on something. I have no knowledge or skills for any of this, but the screw sticking out like that honestly doesn't appeal to me. I say this only because I might be speaking from some of the "female" side of things? And I most definately don't want to have to fill it with a syringe. But if I'm reading this thread correctly, the hole will be big enough to fill directly from the bottle?

There's a classic trade between form and function. If snag factor is a biggie, one could go back to either a classic Phillips head or, possibly, a shallower knurled thumbscrew: http://t0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRXZZ8eVZl0J-qx0RcEQ9-Tdh_kbiR-BidDGJb7oVjWdefby2_k

Still removable without tools, though a bit tougher.

Probably no such thing as a one-size-fits-all. The good side is that with decent capacity it's likely a once-a-day maintenance activity.

(I really want to try one of these, next batch that comes out :) )

It would take forever and a day to drip fill one of these. The syringe method makes the most sense for dealing with the vacuum/leak issue some cartos have when refilled in tanks. Most folks will be able to fill one of these at home and get a full day or close to it out of one. The thumbscrew is a convenience for some and an issue for others. My original design pictured somewhere in this thread uses the top grommet to plug the hole and does not leak at all. You need a small screwdriver to pull the top up just a bit to refill through the hole. I believe a little alteration to the top cap would make the screw unneeded. Perhaps offer it both ways for those more comfortable with the thumbscrew and the other way for a sleeker more snag-less tanks. Like I said before it is a work in progress for mainstream. Mike needs to decide what makes the most sense for him business wise. Me I just keep tinkering looking for the next best design.

Thanks for the feedback, Vermonster. I'm just throwing my opinion out. I represent a market (whole bunch of people) that don't like or want to tinker. I love the tanks, but I want easy, no fuss....no screwdriver, no syringe, no potential catching or snagging from a screw. One of the reasons I purchased my infinity and then the buzz is because they are so easy. I don't have to know anything about readouts and settings...I only have to turn the dial to get what I want. (no brainer...great performing mod even a dummy can use)...and I wouldn't want to carry around screwdrivers and syringes for a tank. I'm sure there is plenty of a market that will buy these anyway. just my 2 cents. Respectfully, Cat

Well if I have to carry a bottle of juice anyway a syringe isn't that much more. I timed it yesterday and with a syringe I refilled and back to vaping in under 2 min. I have a connector that lets me fill the syringe directly from the bottle then to the tank so there is no clean up either.
Today I'm making it so I can just put that filler tip that goes on a syringe right onto the bottle so I won't need a syringe though.

I was gonna order a tank but they are all sold out :( I did order a set of the new batteries to try tho :)

Kellie, Mike only had a handful of the tanks as prototypes. You'll love the batteries!

Frankly, If a syringe were truly necessary, that would be a deal-killer for me. Call me lazy if you must.

With the Liquinator, I'm able to slide the tank upward until I create just enough of an opening for the tip of a juice bottle, without removing the top seal.

I agree, no syringe! We have our juice bottles so with a good squeeze they pour and don't drip and refill takes about 15 - 20 seconds. I hear a bunch of people saying that the screw has the potential of being snagged and pulled out, but for those of you that actually got one has it? Do you think it will.

Exactly - no need to carry around a syringe. People can just get a Luer Lock cap w/ a syringe tip and scabbard and put that on the bottles they carry around.
