This post just made me have a mild aneurysm........ I do think your underestimating the volume taken up by the carto tube and batting though.

OK, this is obviously out of my league, but if he is underestimating the space taken up by the carto and batting, couldn't additional liquid also be added by including how much liquid the carto holds as well?

wow.. finally got one of the fusion 801's.. oh my god. now as soon as mike has the tanks available...

They are nice! My favorite so far.

His calculations included total volume for the most part with a minor reduction for the carto. I think if all batting was removed and compressed to get a actual volume from it wed be surprised it takes up more space than expected.

How much it really holds beats me, it is just the raw volume. Might well lose a full ml, maybe more.
I expect I'll get one of each, do a syringe load, see what they do hold.
Since I haver never used a tank, I'll be curious to see how they really work. Idle play time :)

That's how I figure mine out, by how much I put in it. There are too many variables to get an accurate amount any other way. Cartomizer wall thickness, Batting amount in each tank, Heating coils, wires to the coils, tube wires are hooked on, viscosity of the liquid. Thickness of tank walls. exact placement of the upper and lower Delrin and o-rings, and on and on.

Mrj. Your going to love these babies and especially in a tank. If ever there were two things meant for each other it is the Fusion and the tank. They last forever too. I think I have enough of them to last until 2035 they last so long. I've had one that gave up early but I usually get around four weeks from them. I could leave them in longer but I like them fresh. Probably a psychological thing.

It will fit the MAP Tank but you need to bore out part of the bottom to recess the 801 part into. Like I did this MAP Tank.

It "sounds" like liquinator by vaprescence.com what is the diference?

I am here: Google Maps

Well if you get one and you have a liquinator you will see it's quite a bit better. Plus it has a locking screw that keeps your cartomizer put that seconds as a filler port. And all the things Modrod has already mentioned.
