Looking forward to trying the drill to spin a carto and strip the paint
Silly question - do the tanks ship with a punched or slotted carto with them? I don't actually have any cartos right now for a tank and will need to order some as back-ups anyway - just curious if the tanks come with one initially.
I actually didn't notice any difference in the action of a slotted carto vs a punched one. punching is quite a bit quicker and pain free(assuming you don't smash your thumb)
I am interested in you guys opinion on why the dremmel is better
with a dremel, you don't run the risk of deforming your carto.
Clank, what are you using for a jig? My punched one would have been fine if my awl had been sharper. I just used a pair of vice grips to hold the Fusion steady. When I slot with the dremel I just hold the carto the work bench with my fingers.
J, as far as vaping quality there is no difference. Some of us just have too much inner rage to control how much we smash things with a hammer LMAO!
I bought a jig & punch set from Vapor Age.

Can you make a homemade jig? I found a punch lying on my kitchen counter just like it was meant for me.. Imagine that. I'm sure the ol' man won't miss it, right!? That's pretty convenient but I need the jig part. I slotted a few with a dremel and quite frankly I scared myself a bit. You can put an eye out with one of those things.. or lose a small body part.
Personally I like the Dremmel the best. I have more control with it.
