The M1A1 Buzz Tank

OK guys! The perfect method to filling up the M1A1 without any leaks and no flooding!
1. Fill the tank with a syringe through the screw hole and fill it all the way up.
2. Replace screw.
3. put syringe down the cartomizer between the filler and carto wall.
4. suck out excess air and juice until gurgling stops.
5. replace drip tip and vape.
This method has worked 100% since I started doing it this way.

I'll stick with the lazy way, as buzz explained -- pop the DT off, slide tank up until the top of the carto is below the top of the tank, fill down the big opening, slide carto back through the top hole, reset the screw (not too tight, just touching the carto, to lock the tank in place).

I do this a couple times a day, haven't noticed any issues with the o-rings developing leaks, picked up a rebuild kit so I'll replace them whenever that happens.

I have never had a problem with the tank leaking itself. I had a problem with a siphoning effect causing the carto to leak at the connecter. I would blow and suck and blow and suck and the tank would be half full by the time I got it to work. I tried the method described by markfm but had the same problem. My method has allowed me to fill the tank up 99% and no siphoning. I would prefer another alternative because I have to carry a syringe with me and I look like a junky if anybody sees me. I use smoketech DC cartos and this method might only apply to them.

I guess it is the cartos I'm using and I would imagine other people using the same cartos as me might be having the same problem. This method is a perfect fix for someone having that problem. I want to be clear, I am not blaming the tank at all. The m1a1 has never leaked a drop on me, it comes out of the carto hole at the connection. Until I run through the 20+ smoketechs I have and can order some fusions or Ce2r4's, I have to use this method. I think the Buzz pro with the M1A1 is as close to vaping perfection as technologically possible and I just wanted to point out my solution in case it could help another vaporer reach nirvana.

If you have leaking problems with a carto, the simple way is to put the fill hole on the bottom. Flip the tank over when filling with the syringe through the port. Replace the screw and turn back over. The slots are at the top when you fill so there is no place for the juice to leak while their is no vacuum.

Looking forward to a new order, mix of Fusions and Mega 808s. Ikv store went offline just after my M1A1 came in. I'm becoming better than I ever wanted to be at sanding the glue off cartos (I have a bunch of coolcarts that actually work nicely, but aren't bare steel).

Never having perfected removing labels from cartos (as some of you old-timers here may well remember), I am starting to get a little antsy as I have just started on the first of my last 3 (or is it only 2? OMG I better go check) boxes of SS Fusions...

I have 3 boxes of black ones staring back at me from my drawer, looking lonely and feeling left out...and I prefer them to stay that way; my empathy to their plight non-existent at this point, lol!

If I could just get the thingy out of the Dremel that my Dad has tightened in there beyond belief so I could get my cutting wheel back in there for slotting, I'd be a happy camper this week.

Note the word "thingy" Tracy - it has a real name, but you don't even have to learn "tool terminology" to be in the Buzz Army. One saving grace for us peeps is that the experts around here not only tolerate us - they try to help us out as well. :)
