Imeo, one thing that I cant follow...

I see you unscrewing something other than the button, which you replace with the button, to the top and base.. So obviously I realise you are moving the button, but what is this other 'something?' is it to do with the locking system?

Can you explain how the locking system works, or is it simply done by the removal of the button?

yes cat, the thing I uncrew is a little complex axis system. and the locking option is the telescope system itself. You unscrew the telescope one time and no battery connection inside. You unscrew 2 times for more protection. you unscrew 3 times for 110% protection!

Yeps, the Trans is fine for this woman, but the Grant was better width wise.

What width is this one Imeo?

And i have one the size of the Slim and it is really good( Cisco laser mod). Its more discreet because its smaller, its good for taking out with me to places.

Lisa, would you mind pointing me to a Feminine mod? I haven't seen that many compared with what i would class as a guys.

same width like Trans ckc but only 20mm (like Grant) in telescope system.

As for the slim line, I will make it again in a month or less:)

That is a remarkable piece of engineering, I must give you that. Unfortunately, the mechanics of it break the clean industrial aesthetic of the GG. In addition, it appears like it would be much more susceptible to damage and/or wear and tear.

I don't mean this as an insult in any way. I am truly impressed with the design and I think it would be great for some people. Personally, I'm more a fan of the transformer myself. I know if I drop my transformer that the likelihood of something getting damaged is virtually nil. I wouldn't be so confident with a unit like that that uses a great deal more delicate machining.

The choice of music in that video is hilarious, kudos to you.

Its strong like mule as always ckc:). Thanks for the music too!!

what is the website for GG products (for the uk). also is this smaller than "The Copper" when at its shortest at 6V? i know it can get tiny but thats 3.7V. thanks

Hi my new friend, GG is always the smallest e-cig in the world. Its 99mm long if you put 2xcr123A batteries inside and if you put the button in front, then its 87mm long. Its realy small like GGGrant even if it holds 2xcr123A batteries. The smaller size it can take is 60mm in nano mode.:)

Well, by their very nature, mods tend to be longer and thicker so it really depends what you consider feminine. Are you talking shape, size or colour or a combination of all of those?

Hey Lisa, When it comes to shape i guess i would never use one that looks like a box or a plastic one 'cause there's too much to break, i like the pipe/metal types if they're pleasing to the eye and size in this case does matter.Colourwise never bothers me,silver and blacks my personal favs so a comfortable size is what i'd look for.I know this comes down to batteries and i only use 3.7 anyways so it doesnt have to be huge.Thats why i love the Grant and the tiny 10440 one, they're more feminine. Some women may be different and like more Bling and they'll be shopping elsewhere.

I'm with you, I am not interested in boxy or plastic ones. I like black but I have a problem with the possibility of the finish scratching off, so for me the natural metal has been the best option - having said this, I have been doing a little bit of research into possibly making a wooden mod though.........

The Grant does sound like it suits you and the slim is just so gorgeous that you'll have to buy one when Imeo starts producing them again. Just bear in mind that the battery life is crap but that's to be expected.....

If you're happy sticking at 3.7v, how do you feel about the nano options on the trans and the new GG TS?

I like your thinking outside the box, but Telescoping screw devices have been tried before in electrical applications and don't work as they never hold constant pressure on the battery, it will continually loose contact as it loosens on its own. That is why there are springs in all battery devices, to maintain constant pressure. The screw in top section, since it can never fully seat and just float and will constantly unloosen and break contact. Also, the tops of batterys are very soft, you will just slowly squish them in (and destroy the built in protection circuit on them) as you try to maintain contact by tightening it more and more.

Also, if your idea of a lock is to just unscrew it a few turns, then all e cigs have a "lock" as you can just as well unsrew the atomizer a few turns and have the same effect. Also, i don't see any spring on the button, how will the button retract after being depressed?

I applaud you for trying new things and I don't mean to be negative, but it is the reality of this setup, it will not be a reliable or effective in its current configuration.

Thanks beanie for your nice post, I just have to say some things as an answer.

1) The Telescopic GG should never lose contact for a simple reason. You will be using the device often to take batteries out etc. So you will always screw it in the right position – unlike a static device that could lose its contact after some time.;)

2) There are springs in devices for the same reason I said above and for one more. They are very cheap. Telescopic system is expensive and there is no reason to exist exept you want to make something special like me.

3) The screw in top section (you mean the atomizer cap) it sits everytime well because it has a channel inside it, so the cap always sits on the rest body!

4) Customers will be instructed that the telescopic part only needs to be screwed until the first resistance is felt in order for the contact to be made. It is not necessary at all to squeeze the battery. If I find that people prefer the idea of a spring (because they squeezed a battery), I can send them one.
I always listen to my customers

5) As for the lock option. We want to make things simpler and better, yes? Current options are:
a) unscrew the atomizer a little - you may not avoid contact doing this so you can't risk it.
b) unscrew the atomizer a little more to avoid contact - either you will totally unthread your atomizer or you risk damaging the threads of the connector or the atomizer if it gets bended or if it falls of the table.
With the GG Telescopic system, you avoid these problems and your safety is guaranteed. You unscrew it 1 or 2 or 3 times and no battery contact is made but the threading does not get damaged and you do not risk losing loose parts in your pocket.

As for the button its magic:lol: I cant tell my secret

ps........ if people can already unthread the atty then why people dont do it? because they afraid of a) or b)
