I am very close to having my own NOEGO VV =]. Working on board layout and hope to have it put together by the end of the week. The only problem is that I don't have any shortie batteries for when it's done to tell if it even works. =[

Are you planning to produce this for selling so?

Its a good looking mod. I cant wait to see the 18650 VV with volt indicator. That will be mine.

I like the modular build op.
I like the 18650 Battery.
I like the fact that it is build having in mind the Dual coils.
I like the look of it.
I like the posibility to have volt indication build in.
I like that Romaniac stated to build it at a afordable price.

I dont like the waiting so long for it. lol.

No he is not working for me or with me. I love his creative works and if he finds a way to make a viable and affordable VV switch I will love if he will consider making an offering on the market that will fit the 18650 units.

I have read a lot of comments regarding the 18650 being a re branded E power. Our company has designed the 18650 and the 14500 more then a year ago. We have made many attempts to manufacture these units here in the States. Simply put 90% of American companies would not return our email or our calls and the few that did, gave us prices that would make the units prohibitively expensive. We start looking to China and after a while we worked with the company that currently makes the EXO. They already had a small version of the 14500 EXO that would not fit a 14550 or 14500 protected battery. After 2 months and several prototypes we gave up. The prototypes look bad chunky and very heavy and we could not convince them to stop using cheap ego cannibalized components. I have here the first EXO prototypes pictures I have the units here. The final EXO model they start using parts made for a Baway 808 18650.
Before the dual coils became so popular we start working with SmokTech. They already had a initial model of 14500 that became a production model. Originally after sending the design parameters and drawing to them they were reluctant of producing the 18650 but after a while they agreed to make a prototype for us. After 6 weeks the first prototype was done and was done in accordance with our requirements with dedicated components made specifically for the 18650 model. Both models are designed specifically to accommodate the dual coil line of cartomizers. In the attachments are pictures of the first 18650 prototypes made for G.A.Tech by SmokTech. G.A.Tech was the first company to offer the 18650 NoEgo on the market. We are not a re branded E-power. Simply we are not a big enough company to be able to sell enough units to make SmokTech enough profits to justify their investment in production expenses for the 18650 . So, they start selling them under their own label to different us re-sellers. We are still cooperating with SmokTech and we will make efforts to offer an quality and affordable line of NoEgo products as long as we can. first 3 pictures are prototypes of the first 18650 NoEgo last two pictures are the original EXO 18650 prototype

Well, so because you cannot sell enough 18650 NoEgos, Smoktech started to sell them to other companys.

I guess thats what it is all about, everybody wants to make profit. And building it in too small numbers wouldn´t permit the producer to get the invested money out of it.

So the only way is to make a product they donnt produce, keep allways one step ahead of them.

Does this afect on the VV module, is it still to be soon build? Any update when it will get available?

No it will not. I will go ahead and still push for the development and production of the VV switch. This week I was supposed to receive the first batch of the 5V switch for the 18650. Regardless of future relationship between G.A.Tech and SmokTech, G.A.Tech will continue researching and developing of new models and improvements of e cigs. We already have two additional projects I can not disclose about at this time that will make a lot of vapers very happy.

Good to hear so. You can put me up for one of the 5V. And when you will have available the vv, also for one of them. And if even you will finally build it with a voltage idicater I´ll love it even more.

I supose you do ship to Europe.

I really hope You keep on developing and building mods. As one can see, it is not easy for a small company to fight for a spot on a market dominated by much bigger ones. You have my sympathy and support.

Looking forward too hear from you about 5V/VV and other future project you have in mind.

I was just giving Romaniac some advice earlier in the thread. I just thought that I would throw out there that I would have a VV model before everyone else.:p Na na

Any update of the vv mod. Could you manage to build the electronic circuits in the switch body?

One of my mods was damaged yesterday, need a new one. VV. Dont know if to wait for the VV in development here, or get another if that takes to long.

I still happen to have a 5 V mod, so I wait and see what happens, and use the 5V in the mean time. I´m glad I dont have to deal with your problems, and hope everything turns out well for your company.

I think you have really a great product in the pipeline with the VV modul. beautifull, working with any carto, no matter the Ohms, affordable, what else could somebody wish.

Just bought my 14500 Noego today, very excited, what 14650 batteries would you reccomend, looking forward to trying some out to give me a little extra vaping time.

Edit:

Do you need a special bttom cap to run the 14650? Or does it run 14500 and 14650 right out the box?

You should be good to go right out of the box. There should be plenty of spring to accommodate the length.
