The new E-MiniCig frome-cig.com looks to me identical to the Loong Totem

I just received my "new minicig" from e-cig.com which I had ordered on the 11th of October. I ordered cherry flavor in my kit originally, but after contacting David Yang to inquire about my delayed order, he responded by saying that he did not have cherry flavor and would have to substitute with menthol. To me, menthol does not seem like a good substitution for cherry but he said it was all he had in flavors with nicotine, so I accepted.

First impressions.. It seems to work well. The atomizer only stays on for about 3 seconds it seems, but it produces a lot of vapor in that short amount of draw time. Much more vapor than my boyfriend's "super cigarette" he picked up from ebay to use in a theatre production.

The menthol flavor smells a bit chemically and odd, reminds me of absorbing jr. mixed with a bit of vick's vapo rub. Certainly not cherry.

I haven't had a cigarette in about 3 hours. Normally after 3 hours of not having a cigarette I would really be craving one but I've been puffing on this thing instead and I can see how this is going to help me cut way down or eliminate real cigarettes completely.

I'm not clear on how I can refill these cartridge types, if at all. If someone else has one and knows if this is possible or not I would love it if you could tell me.

This is my first electronic cigarette and I suppose that overall I am satisfied however I think Mr. Yang should have given me a discount or offered to send me some cherry liquid in the future when it becomes available again for two reasons.. because I payed for cherry and because this menthol smells bad.. not even the vapor in the air.. the cartridge itself.. yuck.

I thought I would share a few thoughts this thread for others who are waiting for theirs yet.

You can see that my order shipped on the 22nd, 11 days after I placed my order. You can also see that my shipment was being bounced in and out of Hangzhou for several days. I contacted David Yang again on the 28th and he offered to contact EMS. I guess he did..

it hasnt bashed it leaford.. people thought none had been shipped.. people thought they were not going to get what they paid for.. they thought the product might be crap..

that one review has fixed all this..

people will now think they will get their product in the end.. people think some have been shipped.. people now know its a good product..

that one review put right all the major doubts.. whilst at the same time glossing over the things that couldnt be put right..

all in all perfect pr allowing for the situation being what it is..

call it a perfect damage limitation exercise if u must.. cos thats exactly what it was.. all a little too well timed for me not to be suspicious.. sorry..

I WAS ONLY TRYING TO HELP, and people like you need to go take a nap and get up on the right side of the bed so that we can all just enjoy our ciggies and help each other learn more about them. I am an investment broker in the USA. mamybe I should include my business card too. I doubt I would be making much money spamming for E-cig.com if I explained their HORRIBLE customer service in my review. So what's in it for me? Just providing more information to the community, as it seems I am the FIRST recipient of the new minicig. And Trog, what's in it for you? So people believe you and begin to mistrust everything and everybody? That brings a lot to the table. Most of you guys already spent their money on the new minicig, so what good would it do to rain on their parade instead of letting them look forward to their purchase. NJah Don't leave Faux- Trog is just suspicious because his hasn't arrived yet & is wonderign if they even exist yet- He dished out a pile of cash & is caught in limbo like others who have ordered and so is cautiously suspicious, that's all- Yuo did a great job on the review, and we're all just anxious to see htese thigns for ourselves & see if they are worth getting- Trog is harmless- just a bit grumpy sometimes lol

Tip for those that have these ciggs or will get them- do a very quick primer puff- just enough to get juice sizzling, then take the normal puff for 3-4 seconds till light goes out immediately following the primer- this will give a LOT of vapor- more than even the normal puffs without a primer. Do this twice in a row, and you'll get all the vapor you'll ever want lol- I call these 'double draws' which I used exclusively in my tests on the loongtotem to see how many puffs the cartridges woukld last.

in happy bunny land someone needs to be suspicious naz.. the bottom line is anybody can pop up and say anything here.. there are suppliers here who are here for no other reason than to cleverly promote their own product.. more and more will arrive just to do this..

one sneaky method of self promotion.. false testamonials from new people with good english and fancy sounding name tags.. this seems to give instant credibility..

by advice is to take with a large pinch of salt anything that make the e-cig new mini fiasco seem better than it is..

unless the new information comes from a known and trusted source.. Mr faux dosnt fit this description..

dont under any circumstances send these people money until we have real proof they can deliver the goods..

Most forum names follow a user around for a while to different forums on the internet. I'm not a big conspiracy theorist, but if FauxPuff hangs around, 1 either really likes Puff Pastry, or 2 he's serious about e-smoking.

I understand the suspicion Trog, errr, grumphead. Was just funning with ya- I'ts good to be a bit skeptical, but he may just be telling the truth as well- let's hope he is, give benifit of doubt, but also take a wait and see approach to see if Ecig.com gets their butts in gear and starts shipping htese thigns out.

I agree- I'm taking hte wait and see approach as well. Two people have now said they got hteirs- will wait and see if the product starts showing up on people's doorstep more before takign hte plunge

I don't plan to. It's a shame, because Ecig.com started off as a pretty good overseas company to do business with, but lately they've really gone downhill according to some who've had troubles with htem- their lack of comunication is appalling to say hte least.
