Stalking the mailman finally paid off. My Echo arrived about 1 hr ago. I topped her up with exactly 3mL of liquid via syringe (been using ce2's where syringes are a requirement). The top stayed wet at 3mL so I stopped, might have got a bit more in there, but no reason to push it. Waited about 10 minutes for any leakage to move out of the tube and fired her up..... They don't hit as hard in my opinion as a CE2 on a Riva batt, but they do very well. I'm impressed with the Auto batteries, litterally a tiny little whisper activates it, and no primer puff necessary. If these last, I think it's the perfect solution.

I just got my 2nd Echo 1300, this time I got the chrome one from johnnybass and boy it is a pretty one. If you push the tip past the stopping point it will stay on otherwise they will come off. You will have to twist and push pretty hard the first time but after that it goes on easier also 801 drip tips fit them but I like the standard whistle tip once I got it to stay on.

Dput shipped one to me in South Africa. It's only been a couple of days so I'm still waiting. Reading all the raves about this pv is driving me nuts!! I can't wait to get it.

It could be worse though, people could be changing there minds about this saying how poorly it performs after a weeks use :) Now that would suck.

You won't be sorry Fabsta they are very good. The echo-e cartos are also working very good on ego batteries too. I've been trying one on my ego 1000 batt and is better than any carto, tank or atty I've ever used on that device and I've tried a lot! lol I think I will post a review on them too.:2cool:

Hi, thanks for the review, these sound like the cats meow, I vape on Inferno T which is very nice but a little pricey, I've never used a 901 unit and was wondering if the vapor is as good as 510? Also do these come with whisle tips?

I don't think there is alot of difference between the two. There use to be more of a difference with the older 901 and 510 pvs. The 510 units were more known for better vapor production and 901's for better taste. I don't find much difference nowdays. These put out plenty of vapor with good flavor. It is the type of carto and the automatic battery that makes the difference with these. Yes they come with a whistle tip or you can use a 801 drip tip with them.

Just putting this out there but I didn't want to give a bad review on this product since I was kind of excited to get it and wanted to try the auto batt and cartos. I even waited for a few days to buy the echo since it was sold out for a little bit.

Anyways, I did a fair amount of research and all the threads concerning this pv (including this one) before I bought a kit but I gotta say. My opinion on the echo is that I'm pretty darn disappointed. I mean it worked pretty good for me in the beginning. I got pretty good flavor and a fair amount of vapor but there's literally no TH for me compared to my other pv's. The truth of the matter is that I like my ego-t type b and Reo grand a WHOLE LOT more and felt like I wasted my money on this pv. Also, the sound it makes when I'm taking a drag is just plain annoying. In addition, the drag is way to airy for me since I'm used to my type b that has a tighter draw.

Comparing the echo with my type b, I DEFINITELY get more vapor, and TH. The taste will be about the same. Honestly, cartomizers are not my thing since it's easier for me just to pop the top off of my tank and fill it up and I get a better drag off of it overall. Don't have to wait for the juice to seep into the material in the carto. Also, the time that it takes to charge a battery is RIDICULOUS. I put a fresh batt right out of the box onto the USB charger on my computer for a little over 5 hours and it wasn't even fully charged!

Got irritated to the point where I simply just put it back into the box. Might try it out in a month or so but I'm probably just going to give it away to a friend to get started on vaping. I really had high hopes for the echo being that it sounded like something I was looking for since it had a auto batt but to each their own. Some might like it but it definitely didn't do it for me.

Just ordered a Reo mini and waiting patiently for it's arrival.
