Ordered from LF, not COV, but wanted to post my experience so far: fail. Tried a bunch of different ones with different liquid and same result. juice collects in the reservoir cup and pools out of the connector end. Probably a bad batch as I've seen some others with the result I was hoping to get. Also, if you press down a bit on the rubber-mouthpiece, (by accident, or light force) juice will definitely get into the center hole and come out of the connector end as it acts as a plunger. Don't even think about putting these in your pocket, as the juice will get on the rubber mouthpiece threads and eventually in your mouth, or worse, your pants pocket, etc.

Pics showing what they look like after carefully filled. I tried the syringe method on the one on the left, and dropped into the one on the right, same result. Juice in the reservoir cup immediately, and then pooling outside of the connector onto the paper towel. Going back to trusty Boge2.0's for now. Posting here to hopefully help someone out, and to see if anyone is having a similar experience.

Sorry Bigbuyer, wasn't aware that this was in the COV forum, thought it was just a thread on the G4's. I'm really interested in seeing if others have had the same experience with them. Was just trying to help my fellow vapers with my disappointing experience with these. Apologies. I do follow your site though, as I'm a big fan of the GG, and hope to order one from you soon. That looks like an amazing device.

I got mine in and there is deffinately a glue sealing the tube to the 510 connector, it looks like and im hoping that it is a silicone sealant, so far I have put about a half mil through my first g4 and have not tasted any glue and havent noticed it move at all, and really the atomizer hasnt heated up all that much on my ego battery, no where near the temps a 510lr gets to.

Got mine today. for the 510 threading!

When I tried something like these previously they performed better after they'd been broken in. Specifically, once I got tired of treating them like new things and pulled them apart, cleaned them and put them back together I got better vapes. Since I haven't had a chance to do that yet I don't really have any vape impressions to share. I filled one, set it on my desk and came back to find it had leaked. There's no cracking around the base, I used the provided mouthpiece and the liquid is coming from the hole in the bottom, which means it must be in the-forbidden-zone - the tube. I'll pull it apart tomorrow and see if a minor adjustment fixes it. It probably will.

Thanks, Bruce.

My first impression on an ego, takes about 7 seconds to get enough of a draw for good vapor, so these are clearly much higher in OHM than 2.5 (not necessarily a bad thing). I use an aluminum 510 drip tip instead of the rubber cap, and I like it.

I absolutely think that these are very well suited for 5v vaping because 1) they don't need to wick like the ce2's do. There always seems to be juice in the reservoir from the first fill, and 2) Its a very very cool (temp) vape, flavor is hit or miss on the inhale (which HV would improve significantly) but the exhale is awesome.

I saw a rerun of Bruce on vapetv using one on a 5v PV and it was working out well for him. I can imagine these being way way better at 5 or 6v than they are on my eGo, and there's a possibility that they may be the HV answer to the CE2's inability to wick well at HV.

Now, what I'd like to know is how to clean em? With a ce2 you just flush em, let em dry, and dry burn em. With a clearo you pull the tube, rinse out the wick, pat it down w a napkin and dry burn. With these, the base is glued on and the coil is pretty far down. Maybe a flush would get down to the coil, and it'd dry fast enough to dry burn since there's not much to retain water (wick wise).

I'm also curious to see how long they last, or if any in the 5-pack are duds. I have no leaks with the one I'm using now. It's been full for 3 hours, battery side down, flat on its side, upside down, and because I can, chain puffed it for a while and no gurgles or leaks.

First impressions are a solid C on the eGo with a lot of potential for HV.
Out of 5:

Inhale Flavor: 2 (hit or miss. Some draws are better than others)
Exhale Flavor: 5
Draw tightness: 4
Vapor production: 3 (if you inhale for long enough, reminds me of a regular cart on a 510 or blu)
Throat hit: 4 (based on intensity. I think the TH is perfect)

My opinions may change and I'll update periodically to let you folks know about durability or DOA's.

Overall Bruce, it's not a bad product. I'd really like to try it at 5v but all I have are egos.

Just got mine today. I've opened 3 and all 3 have leaked. Since they're glued at the base I can't really see a non-destructive way to disassemble and attempt to correct the leaking. (I did that with a few Vortexes using teflon plumbing tape with good results.) I did try to push the center tube assembly down further but it either didn't move or didn't help. I really like the Vortex and was hoping this was the next evolution of that design. I suppose it is, but it (so far for me anyway) has been disappointing.

That being said, I do think this design once perfected is the future of cartomizers. Great capacity, no filler, wicks well, the tips are much more secure in this model - get this pesky leaking thing fixed and I've finally found what I've been looking for since I started vaping.

I got mine yesterday. Easy to fill, so that is good. Gurgles like crap till the juice is only in the reservoir area and then I get about three nice hits and then it seems to just die out because it is almost empty. I have blown more into paper towels than I have vaped. The idea is kind of good but definitely needs to have some kinks worked out. Now that the thing has had liquid in it for 24 hours, I just noticed it is leaking like crazy and I also noticed the glue or sealant at the bottom is starting to look all soggy like.

Hey, I figured I'd give it a try and now I know what I want to see worked on before I try it again. The flooded thing and the glue/leaking business.

In the meantime, I will go on loving my boges and dual coils that I get from you Bruce and I just tried out one of those Cherry dream tips, it really does have a different feel to it and I think I kinda like it!

Just want you to know I am just reporting what I am finding, no way am I .....en about cov, I like being able to try some new stuff out....take those dual coils for example, REALLY glad I tried those :)

Am getting a weird plastic-like flavor from mine. Still there after running 1 ML through it.. Goin' back to Boge LR.

Update: Was using them with thick 100% VG juice. Now using one with a thinner juice and it tastes great. Thinking the problem was slow wicking... Will report back how long it lasts.
