Here are some pics of the NEW PHOENIX XL REBORN

They redid the whole bottom section, the base is longer then before to ensure the guts are done properly and better over all performance, redid the whole base and changed the wiring, all new base, new internal system for better performance, wick and coil placement has been improved as well & wick and coil is further away form the base innard relieving issues and the wires will not come loose no short circuiting.

More info in a few days

No hole in the center post battery connection? Looks like they are making them more difficult to take them apart.
Are these the only ones in stock now? Just want to make sure I get the new ones to try out even though I was totally happy with the old ones.

Got that right Wally..If I cant take them apart, then I need to order all remaining inventory...I'll split it with ya ?

Looking closer, I see a seem at the base...looks like were safe...

I don't generally dissect these things the way the modders do. I just take the tube off, post off, seal off and wash everything. So the listed changes wouldn't hinder me, I don't think. I'm just really dubious about it. The Phoenix was fine and the second version has given me more trouble with the crooked coil/wick assembly, coils sitting too far down and posts that fit way too tightly. I could see the tight fitting post convenient for people that like to keep it raised a bit for better VG wicking, though.

I'm just always nervous that fixes are gonna make it worse. "If it ain't broken, don't fix it" is a motto I live by though I see how that can slow the progression and evolution of products. Regardless, I'll give it a whirl when I can. Y'all are coming out with so many new things, you're breaking me! I need to find some sort of extra work  Got a few irons in the fire and I hope something will pan out. If anyone needs Wordpress theme help or customization, let me know! Will work for vapin' supplies :p

I hear ya...I hear ya I hear ya...the Phoenix XL is their pride and joy though and hey, if this is flubbed up then we just go back...as I said though we have a temp restock of 300 boxes coming in and we do have quite a few 2.6-2.8's in the 510's still left...with all of you having VV's anymore you need to not worry about ohmage as much and oyu can probably get the higher ohm ones last a teensy bit longer...

When I remove the center posts from these I use a flat blade and wiggle the post out rather than trying to stick something in the hole to pull it out.
