The next level in vaping?

So what is everyone's input on the next level of vaping? What is the next step after coils and cotton? What is the mp3 to the CD going to be?

It just seems like in the end wether you have a clearo a carto or an atomizer they are all the same thing packaged up different. Everything is cotton and coils. So where do we go from here to increase flavor purity, vapor output and convenience etc? Thoughts?

For me, it will likely be dripping ... Juice directly into my veins through an IV!

A delivery system that does away with the wick and a new spring-loaded locking system that does away with threading between tanks and PVs. Neither of which would really cost that much to develop and very doable.

With a proper design a wick is not even necessary. Liquid is delivered to the coil, the coil vaporizes it. You inhale it. No wick. No leaks. No juice spitting into your mouth. etc. It's not new, it's not revolutionary.... seems like a no-brainer to me.

I dont think it will be any time soon that we see a real advancement

just incremental refinements to the current systems.

remember even though they keep trying new revisions the household speaker is the same basic design for over 100 years. sometimes its hard to really reinvent something that already works well.


in the mean time im getting a beer hat and just running direct injection tubes into my neck

I like the ultrasonic idea. There are ultrasonic vaporizers and humidifiers. That would be a pretty pure setup if doable in a small unit.

Kind of the same idea as a no wick system.

I'm staying where I'm at. Medium wattage (6 to 8 watts) with carto tanks on a nice VV/VW mod. I'm very happy with that.

I never heard about as wool. Do you guys think other cleaner forms of wicking are the future or wickless dripping? I hear you yzer the carto tanks are the best IMO.

My money would be something a bit like goretex lining.. (bare with me here )

A mesh like the inside of those disposable e-ciggs carto, but manufactured in such a way that liquid can-not pass at all. How it could work would be to have a heating element that heats the liquid, and the vapor passes through the membrane into where the coils would usually be.. or something similar ! If it worked, no chance of leaks !

This. I love all the gadgets out there. In the type who will eventually work her way into mech mods if I allow myself to really spend that money. However, when out and about I really do miss the ability to do something with my hands while the cigarette was in my mouth. In fact, I'm considering a cigalike, just to have in emergencies and when I really need to be discreet. Looking at the panda ones possibly...
