Hey Leaford, I have another question.... A while back there was a discussion about Bloog cartos tasting burnt on a freshly charged non-regulated battery. I believe it had something to do with the ohms of the cartos plus the 4.2 batteries. I experienced this myself, and have since switched to regulated batteries and have had no carto issues until recently.



I found a couple of Bloog prefilled cartos in my stash, so I vaped them & refilled them, using them daily. They taste burnt initially on a freshly charged Bloog battery, including my old blue Bloog, which has never done this before. I still think my new Bloogs are not performing like my old blue, which would explain the burnt taste. But I'm wondering if this is a sign that old blue might be dying or somehow turning non-regulated?

I've had my Bloog for 17 days and all 5 of my cartos are bunt tasting. I'm new to this so I just thought they don't last long. However even when they were new if I puffed more then twice (4 sec each) toast, rubber and gunk. Is this normal? (hope I'm not hijacking this thread)

Unfortunately I can't find new ones up here either so It's gona be a rough go till I do.

Also the pcc charge indicator always shows at least two bars even when the batt is dead so it's kinda useless.

A couple of questions to see where we are at.

A. Are you using Bloog maxx fusion cartos or the old bloog cartos?
B. are you using prefilled cartos or are you filling them yourself?
C. are you using a BMF bat with the BMF carto?
D. the charger will show 2 bars but when it's fully charged the bat LED will blink and then turn off which indicates that the bat is fully charged.

YOu should really ask the customers if you can show a first name. Like carol from NY won our love25 free order. then let then pm a message on the boards. Customers love seeing a name it attaches them and ts great advertising jmo

Wait, what? There's a who in the what, when, and where, now? Explain that to me again, please. Your iPad's camera connection kit can power an e-cig? So I would assume that it includes a female USB connector? And that is capable of powering an e-cig? A passthrough or a charger, or what?

(I'm gonna buy an iPad2 as soon as I can find one in stock in these here parts, so this is a burning question for me.)

Yeah, but the camera connector kit seems to indeed come with an iPad connector to USB adapter. Apple iPad Camera Connection Kit - Apple Store (U.S.)

That leaves the question, though, whether that will really power either a paswsthrough or a charger.

I know the USB port you gain with the camera connection kit puts out 5v power. I've used it to power thumb drives before. I'll try it on mine and let you know.

UPDATE: Did not work. My guess would be that it has to sense an actual device there, such as the drive, in order to start sending power. I'll look around Cydia and see if there's a jailbreak app to toggle 5v on and off.

I could be wrong, but I don't think a thumb drive uses 5v, so I would suspect it doesn't output that much. And anyway, think about the battery drain. I'm just excited about findng a USB adapter for it, makes it much easier to transfer files.

Well, they actualy do use 5v.
Thats what you get through usb. No other options.

I dont own a Ipad but wouldnt apple make it possible to charge a ipod from it? f thats the case then it should charge a batt. some how? maybe apple dont care f there products are integrated since they have the market by the balls

I think what we really need is a small hand pumped generator that will charge are PV's in case of lack of power lol. maybe a new sneaker that holds a generator while we walk and charges are gear its been tried but not on a ecig

You're right. Serves me right for only skimming through the topic.
The connection is not powered at all (well, barely). Only useful for data.
It was a design decision, because the interface can actually work as a host.

Thanks for the input 'want to quit', sorry I was out of town and not able to reply right away. I'll try to answer your questions the best I can.

A. Yup Maxx Fusions that came with the kit.
B. Filling empty Maxx Fuision cartos with Juicy Clear and Chinese (djong or something) juices.
C. All Maxx Fusion parts and Cartomizers.
D. After my Bloog starts flashing during a draw, I put the battery back in the PCC to recharge but even a dead battery will display as having a charge left in it, so you can't trust the pcc with any accuracy. The pcc also already looks like its really old thanks to the crappy coating flaking. It seems also that I'm charging them more often now (a testament to the awesomeness of the Bloog) so I'm kinda wondering how long these will last.
