What does the strands mean?
And for the dual coil twisted idk if I'm doing something wrong but it says at 50watts it'd be 139.
I got the same conclusion on the single twisted as you did Though.

Strand are the number of wires that you are twisting together, you can ignore the pitch twist as long as you leave it at 0 but create your twisted wire with a drill. Otherwise you have to measure...

Not quite sure what you mean by a single twisted. Little help on that one please?

I do twist by hand, single coil is what I meant. The dual coil twisted can't seem to get the measurements right.

Ok, gotcha. Let me know if I've got the info below correct now...
In your original post:
sigelei 100watt, right now it's a .41 twisted 28ga on a 1/16 bit. Used anywhere from 30watts to 45 watts On a mutation x v2.
also have a sig 50watt with a single 28ga twisted 3/36 bit .8 ohm on a clt v2.
I've used numerous dual coil builds anywhere from .3 to .9 ohms, built a .4 parallel and a .8 parallel yesterday but didn't like that style but it still spit. The duals spit and the singles spit and the parallel spit, the twisted seems to spit less. Currently have a different juice that is higher vg, from a different company (doesn't disclose percentages) Spits only on warmup where all my NT juices spit throughout each pull

I read that as a single coil and used single coil when I plugged the numbers in, sorry about that, my bad. With a dual coil, SE is showing 135 mw/mm2 which IS on the cooler side. The only thing I can say is that with 28 gauge, the ramp up time is very short and with all the surface area, (you've got 2 12 wrap coils doubled in there) juice is just exploding off the coil...

Try reducing your watts to 15 and work up from there.

That would make more sense why I'm having issues. I need to order 26 and 24ga. I think I'd be better off not doing any crazy builds until I get wire. Lol. Thanks so much for your help. Really do appreciate it.

No worries, glad I could help...:)

In the meantime, you can play with the wattage on what you currently have. It will help you get the feel for what temp ranges you prefer with variations on heat flux. Once you find the range you like, you can build for that range. I like my vapes a lot cooler than most people. It is all about the flavor for me. I don't care if I there are clouds or not. We are all different, makes life interesting :)

Clouds make vaping in the airport hard :(

I was wondering if you guys could help me out because I am somewhat uneducated about most of the devices out there.

I am looking to spend under $50 for another mod for my desserts. I use my two Reo's for certain e-juices only. When I had one Reo, I would switch it around quite a bit, but now the same flavors stay in them.

Now I want something to devote my "dessert" flavors in like CB, GCD, CLS, etc.

I am using an eGo twist right now with a 1.8 wicks and I am just not feeling the love with these flavors.

I would prefer an atty that I could rebuild myself instead of using expensive stock wicks.

Thank you for any advice!

Check out the Kanger Sub Mini, 22mm can use premade heads but also comes with a RTA piece. If it performs anything like bigger sub tank I have you will be pleased.

Sorry for the new post, but I looked at the istick and I really like the look. The 30w looks like it could handle by genitank mega, but I'm not sure. If it could work with the genitank, would you guys suggest I go up to a 1.2? Or can I swing it with a 0.8? I definitely like the looks of it and the price is right for the 30w.

See if it lists the ohm range that works with it. .8 may be okay but it may not want to go below 1.0 ohm. And if you use the .8 heads (and it works that low) then keep your watts lower and raise it bit by bit till you hit your sweet spot. Burned juice = too much power for a .8 ohm coil. Or dry hits. Do some dry pulls (not firing the power button) to bring the juice more into the wick...

Thank you, Lynn! I bought the silver one, I love the look of silver. It goes down to 0.4ohms. When I get it, I'm going to have a lot of questions because I've never had something this nice except for my Reo's and I'm going to need help so I don't ruin it. I hope I don't get on anyone's nerves with my upcoming questions about wattages, etc.

:D So excited!
