Whether it's the Mechanical Bullet or the Regulated bullet, either way it should work fine, you just need to make sure to build it high enough. The issue with finding bought coils is I'm not sure they make pre-wound coils that have a high enough resistance.

Do you mean high enough ohms? I typically build around a 0.5-.07 these days. Is that high enough? I do not want to use stock coils. I want to be able to change my wick in a moments notice with my own supplies.

Hello Dani! Just realized I forgot to congratulate you on the new gig! Happy, Happy, Happy for you girl!

Now stop! Don't mean to alarm you but, from what I know and have read, your " Silver Bullet" should not be used with any atty below 1.5 ohms.

Glad to see you posting again! :)

Hey guys! I've missed all of you but it's been all kinds of crazy in my life. Good crazy. :) But I have a question.

I began vaping on the Silver Bullet (Your Online Electronic Cigarette Store) and a genitank Mega (I didn't like the tank at all). I've been thinking about putting the bullet back in use, but I don't want a clearomizer type of tank. I've been looking at the lemo and I really think it's something that I might like. Would these two devices be compatible? If you have the Lemo, do you like it and where did you purchase it? I like the idea of building my own coils and not having to purchase them.

Thanks in advance! Love to you all and I hope everyone is happy and healthy!

Dani

I have missed you!

The Lemo and Drop is 23mm around, so it will fit perfectly on the Silver Bullet in size, but build your coil high enough Ohms for it.

Thank you, distorto! Now it's a waiting game for HR to schedule me for my background and drug check because they are backlogged, but it should be any day now. I'll post pictures of things I'm decorating my office with in the "Nicoticket Virtual Vape meet" since I don't know where else to put it. I want opinions! Thank you for the specifications on the Silver Bullet. I guess that blows the silver bullet right out of the water.

Thank you, penguiness. I have missed you, too. Thank you for the Ohms answer. Bummer for real. I was hoping to put it into good use.

here's something I have not experienced before..

SMOK RDA.. wound a 1.6ohm slightly spaced coil with 30g A1 Kanthal. heats evenly, no hot spots.. wicked it with rayon, nice and fluffy, dripped some Sure Bert, give it a test fire at 3.5v... and after 3 seconds, hot spot near the outer post and I get a small flame.

tried a few coils.. tried rewicking.. using straight 50/50 so I don't waste any more Bert.. same.

faulty unit?

eta: the coil that came installed snapped about 3 hits in.

Sounds like a short. Can you take pictures of the build without wicking?

Got Sure Bert in my Fogger 4.1, it's so thick I can't run it at high levels without it sorching the wick (the juice never sorches, if I suck on it without firing, then fire it once at 20W it's fine)
anyone got any ideas on what's a better wick to use then organic cotton? I love the juice and I love my fogger, but you can tell it's got troubles with it being so thick.

So, back to fiddling with wire.
I finally have a Mephisto clone from CH that has enormous terminal holes and can hold some giant wire builds...

I twisted up a section of Mundy's Magic Wire that produces just awesome flavor and is an incredibly smooth vape. Here's a couple of links to the technique.

Doesn't need to be a bottom fed atty to use this stuff, you just need really big post holes as it is very thick wire.

This came in at .65 ohm from 5 wraps, usually I'm in the .4 range for the Wakonda but I'm getting just awesome lovely coffee flavor layered with the vanilla, all the flavors are there, just an awesome vape, super velvety smooth!

Rayon. It is less dense in the coil with better capillary action...

I'm so ticked at myself....I took the Lemo Drop apart to rebuild the coil. Built the coil, installed it, looks so pretty then go looking for the base so I can check the ohms...it's no where to be found! I've looked over and under the chair, anywhere that I think it could be. It's gone! Guess this is my clue to put it away and not mess with it tonight! UGH....

Just broke my ohm meter, first coil measured at .37, turned off installed 2nd one, and wouldn't read. Think I stripped out the threads that go into the meter. My mod says .1, which would be correct since it's around a .185 Nice warm vape at 80watts. Built my reo last night with 26ga 8 wraps which measured out to .69, decided to rebuild and used 28ga with 6 or 7 wraps I forget, ohm measured at 1.19. Loaded up radio and I'm in love. Decent clouds and huge flavor. Now I need more 28ga wire and maybe even some 30 or something to try along with a new ohm meter. Took the reo to work with me, and it gets to cold outside (-5 outside today) And the juice gets to cold to squonk, kinda depressing but it'll warm up next month or maybe the following month.

Tldr, broke ohm meter, got first reo yesterday!
