The flavor seems about the same as the Fluxos. They were a little hot at first, until I found that the resistance was low on the ones I got; so I had to lower the voltage on my Provari a bit. I had ordered 2.6-2.8, which is what my Fluxos are. But when I checked the ohms on my Provari, the 2 Phoenix TCs I've used were both 2.5 ohm. Maybe the box was labeled wrong.
Interesting, I was hoping for 'it tastes better than a fluxo' but expecting "it tastes like a fluxo.' lol
For me I had resigned the fluxos to a box to be used only if everything else I had decided to die. Just didn't like the taste I got from them, but I'm loving the taste I'm getting from the new tc phoenix
I don't find much difference in the taste. I like the fact that I can remove the tubes on the Fluxos to clean. Cleaning them is quicker. But I like the leak proof design of the base on the Phoenix TC. I've only tried to remove the tube on one Phoenix TC, and it separated at the base.
I agree with you on the cleaning. I tried but just couldn't get the tube off on the phoenix TC. I'd really like to be able to clean them better than just rinsing out. I really tried with the fluxos, did all the tips and tricks, cleaned, dry burned, they just always tasted like the juice was a little scorched. Using a kgo and ego, don't have a vv yet, so I don't think the voltage was too high.

The 4 2.6-2.8 Phoenix BCs I ordered arrived today, minus the 4 refill syringe kits I also ordered. I was a bit surprized that the connector ends were all EGO type not 510. I'll have to get some adapters. OK, so fine.
I have qn 18 ga. sharp needle syringe and I also have a 14 ga. blunt needle syringe. Which should I use?
I dug out my old 900maH eGO-t Batt and it still works. I checked the resistance on the first Phoenix and it measures 3.0 Ohms. I can imagine that the 3.4 volts of the Ego(max) against the 3.0 ohms will be exhilarating, like 3.85 watts. Dynamite. I've watched the filling instruction vids. Just need help knowing which needle to use.

I believe either needle would be too large. The blunt needle that comes in the box with the bottom coils is either 20 or 21 ga.

Well for quickness off I go to the Feed, Seed and Ag Supply store Monday they have syringes and needles. I live in a ranching area. Sometimes it has its advantages.
My Pheonix XL BC works well with either high pg or high vg. In the case of high vg, I add 10% pg to Bobas Bounty, which is supposed to be 100% vg, and I have no wicking problem at all. It just works flawlessly.
Wow.....this is my first time to try clearos, and I got an older stardust (purple) and a long wick stardust, and a box of bc phoenix's. I filled 3 phoenix's, and the first two days, I wasn't getting much flavor at all. Filled my stardusts. For 2 days I've been vaping my pina colada out of the long wick stardust. Phoenix's have been laying on the table. Just grabbed one put it on my riva, and Holy Cow!! The flavor has improved soooooo much! Grabbed another one, same thing. Same with the 3rd. Now I know the secret! lol Fill em up, put em in time out for a couple days to think about what they did, and it straightens em right up!! lol
Hi Debadoo! I'm happy to see that things have worked out well for you after that first night! Isn't vaping great!... and so much enjoyable than smoking!
I'm also happy to see you dive into the clearos! I started with cartos, and don't like them as much as clearos and the ego C type B tanks (I think they're great with LR atomizers!) I've been using the Stardust (short wick) on my ego twist and love it. Waiting for my order of Phoenix BC and TCs.

Thanks Jerry and Yiddle. Yeah, the clearos are soooo much better for me than the filler cartos. I was getting scratchy dry hits all the time with those and they were plenty soaked. Just not for me. Having a few issues with these, but not nearly as much. Got juice in my mouth a couple times yesterday from the phoenix and the stardust, but no leaking other than that.
I did happen to think that I don't know if they extra flavor was from letting it sit in the phoenix for a few days, or if it was just that the juice got to steep a few days. Either is possible. I was sucking fumes when this juice arrived, so I immediately started vaping it.

Rather enjoying my first BC Phoneix. Been through about 10 ml through it and it is doing pretty well, today it is starting to not want to wick as well unless I thump the tube so I would imagine I need to clean a bit.
Granted, I haven't been messing with these long, but using the same juice on refills, I seem to get better performance if I fill it before sleeping and let it sit overnight than if I fill and vape immediately.
i bought 1 pack of the BC xl version and the 2 that worked good were awesome. tonight the second one gave out, i got really good mileage out of it. it was better than i expected. these dont wick well with thicker juices out of the box for me so i used my thinner liquids with it.
you do have to eventually clean them to continue the performace or else youll gunk it up and change how it works.
About how often do you recommend this? I did one the other day just because I changed juice after vaping one tank ful. I usually have 3-4 loaded up but because I alternate all these and the stardust, they may have juice in them for a week, but take me at least that long to vape one tank ful from each one. I vape 70/30 pg/vg
