Can anyone confirm if any one of the VISION EXTREME GIANT Replacement Tubes will replace the tube of a XL Phoenix?
I'm thinking of trying to press fit a gutted xl 510 carto tube over the business end of the Phoenix, to make my own metal body Phoenix. Anyone tried this? Looks really close to working..

I've been using my old foggy plastic ce2 tubes and putting the phoenix in them, a little tight but it fits.

i tried an old ce2 tube but didnt finish cuz it had a rust spot from where the wire was touching (9mo old out of the drawer) but it would appear that you could cram the tube on there and it should work. but its a very tight fit. going to have to pound it or press it on but not really any tighter than the ce2 was...
only problem i can see is how do you accurately determine how much to fill it and so on when you cant see the inside. but it should work....

Excellent, and thanx for the valuable input !!

In need of extra filling syringes, I went to CVS , and for .25 each, scooped up some 22ga 3ml units. As luck would have it, the tube diameter looks right for an emergency swap too. I will post pics, if this rig proves successful..

Follow up: Works like a champ..510 drip tip fits, vapes excellent. snug, heavy duty...

If you dont like or want the graduations, a little rubbing with alcohol takes em' right off..

well for a solid casing you would then need to rely on your syringe and how much you filled it with

Where did you get that cool PV holder or did you make it?

Made it out of a block of untreated 4X4.(Much THanx)..You wouldn't happen to be from the Great state of Washington (Walla Walla), would ya?

That is nice Zipper, much, much nicer than the one I made from 3/4" particle board for my atties, cartos and juice bottles. Going to have to try something like yours that will hold my odd size PVs in addition to all the other paraphernalia. Probably need a bucket handle to carry it from my PC to my vaping area. :)
