The tube is glued so it requires a bit more to remove it the 1st time. I use an old 510 battery to remove my tubes. Since the Fluxo tubes are not glued they are easier to remove the 1st time.

I saw no indication of glue on the one pack I got... I do recall them being stiffer to remove, but there wasn't any residue on the tube or seal that I could see.

The tubes are not glued. Pressed fit. My tube came apart all by itself while rattling around in my clipboard at work
Check out post 1331...

Leave your Phoenix screwed to an eGO batt, give it a couple rocking back an forth motions, and she just pop's right off...very easy, without much effort. ALOT better than the Stardusts by a long shot...

I will try removing the tube, next time I clean. I just wasn't sure if it would wreck the o ring. I wasn't able to do it with the Visions, as I mentioned before, so I was reluctant to try it with the Phoenix. They have the same type knurling on the base as the Visions. The first couple I've cleaned, I've done with the tube attached, by removing the center tube, soaking in Everclear, and dry burning. But I'd like to get a better look at the coil and wicks, like I do with the Fluxos.
Thanks all for the advice.

Removing the Visions cone base metal ring is by far the hardest part. The first time i tried, I used a set of vise grips, and even though i got it off, I buggered it up pretty good with teeth marks. Since then, I made this little jig out of a thin peice of oak. I drilled a hole the same diameter as the base ring, then cut a slit down the middle to shrink it, and help the clamping force. I then clamp it, right center on the Stardust..works like a charm, and it doesnt distort the metal ring when yanking the tube off.

Your right about the O-ring. That little jewel is critical to the tube not leaking. If it tears, or gets lost, the show is over...repeated tube removal, is sure to destroy it eventually, I feel....

I apologize to Got Vapes for going off topic of the Phoenix.

I pulled the tube off one last nite. There did seem to be a very small amount of some sort of adhesive at the base. but it wasn't a problem. I cleaned it and put it back together with no problem. I did have to trim the wicks back a little, so they wouldn't pinch between the tube and the base when I put the tube back on. Works great, with no leaks.

Hello All and i hope my message finds you in great health and spirit today . I have been through all the 137 pages of this thread and am happy that some of you are really liking the phoenix xl cartoz . i got 8 of em along with the vv nova about 10 days ago form Gotvapes .
I was not happy with the stock phoenix xl's so i went ahead and trimmed the center tube a bit from where the wicks come out and also put another longer wick in the area that was trimmed by me . i did trim the stock wicks a bit and also lifted the coil as mentioned in previous posts .
well the result is a lot of vapor and a decent throathit with no dry hits , BUT the taste is heavely muted ... is there any remedy for getting out more flavor from these 1.5 mil cartos .

i am have been vaping for the past 2 years and have basically tried every darn thing under the sun starting from carts and blue foam ) god those days ..... -:) . Am currently a Boge 2 ohm carto user .

all help appreciated regarding how to get some more flavor out of these .. would also like to mention that i have just gone through 2-3 mil on them .. would the flavor start coming through after i vape a bit more !!!!

thanking you in advance

warm regards
sahil .

Edited to correct spelling mistakes .

Hi sahilm, I have the 1.5ml and the 3ml and I really am enjoying them both. I am happy with the flavor I am getting from mine but I am also wondering if mybee it could have something to do with are juices, flavor, vg, pg, viscosity, menthol, non-menthol. I love menthol and use it alot, I have a bottle of pure menthol and I will add a few drops to different juices I get that are non-menthol. But I also have a few juices that I do not add it and I still seem to be getting great flavor. I know it is not the same kind of flavor I get from some of the atty's I have used, so yea the flavor is not the same but to me this is working out great. I love the the fact that I can fill them up and go, it makes my vaping experience much more enjoyable. But we are all different and have different preferences. I know they are going to be selling the top coil's soon and there are some people who feel that for them the flavor on these come thru alot better, so mybee it will be worth it to try them when there in-stock. Also there are alot of people here that love the fluxomizer's for there flavor also, mybee you should look at one of the threads about the fluxomizer's. Not sure if this is of any help but I do hope you can find something that work's great for you, :)

I have been a die hard fan of Boge 2.0's for awhile now. Great flavor right? When I first tried the Phoenix XL, with the same juice in my Boge, I tasted what I can only describe as a "purer" taste. Kinda what the juice is supposed to taste like in my mind. Is the taste we get from the Boges so good, after so long, that we really dont know what the juice is SUPPOSED to taste like? Maybe so. Taste is subjective, and vape whatever turns you on, for sure. The longevity of these Phoenix's is enough to keep me comming back.

Bottom coil, replaceable head, Phoenix is comming I bet. Looking at the Stardust 2.0 and the ViVi, its only logical....IMO

Dear Samsun and zipper , thank you so much for your replies .
I am using 50/50 vg,pg juices and yes am trying to give them time to see if the flavors are really what they should be . to be honest i have re-filled one of my phoenix cartoz with the same juice for the 3rd time and now i feel the flavor kinda coming through .

Zipper i have about 55 boge lr's and 40 ikenvape 801's, what am i going to do with them now :p

Samsun , after reading what you had written , for a moment it seemed as though i was reading something i had written myself , god i too after 1.5 years of vaping and trying over 400 diff juices realized that i like menthol too , i was anti menthol when i started and only wanted tobacco flavors , now to realize that a light tobacco with some menthol and also some fruity flavors with menthol is what i am liking the most .
i recently got myself some menthol drops from alien vision and will be adding it to some of my juices .

hoping to try the 3mil tanks soon .

wishing you well
warm regards
Sahil.

Oh , btw , i tried something last night and wanted to share it with you all .
i have read and seen videos that clearly say that we should wait till the phoenix xl are dry before re-filling and also that they would leak like crazy if we tried to fill em when only half way through .

well i have tried something and would request you guys to try it too and see if it works for you all ( its worked for me UPTO NOW  ) .
when your phoenix xl are about half way through , turn them upside down for about 3-4 minutes and leave them alone ( battery end facing up in the air ) then in the same manner , take the filling needle and make sure that the tip of the needle is in the remaining liquid while trying to fill it again , fill slowly till u reach the top , pull out needle and then wait for a few seconds before you turn the angle of the carto , after a few seconds it is ready to use again .

please do let me know if this works .

wishing you well
warm regards
Sahil
