Got my stardusts (old one and new one) and my bc phoenix's yesterday!! Man o man.....what a difference from the polyfil. Something about those just did NOT agree with me. I am sooooo loving these.

2 questions:

The long wick newer stardust says the plastic is virtually impervious to leeching or something like that. Does this mean that I can use acidic type juices like watermelon, marashino cherry, pineapple etc in it? I know I can't in the older colored one I got.

Also, what about those juices in the phoenix's? I got the bc 1.6 ones. I'm dying to try these juices, but don't want to take a chance on cracking something or melting it.
Thanks!! And wahoooooo Jerry, glad to see you're hanging in there!!

Thanks bad! I'll let you know. I know I've heard the maraschino is super bad about damaging plastic, so may start with that and see. If it passes that it should be able to handle anything, if not, I'll just mourn it til I can get some more. lol

Get a Vivi Nova with the metal tank next time.....should handle any kind of juice you want to put into it....

I've heard of those. Will have to check out some videos on them Harley. Thanks, didn't realize they had metal tubes. But I do like seeing how much juice I have. That's great. This is my first time trying clearos and man o man are they sooooo much better! I was having serious issues with the poly fil in the boge 510's. Cherry's been in the phoenix about 15 mins. No issues yet. : ) : )

I've got a couple of questions for those of you who are have the knowledge and experience that I'm still trying to acquire.

1) For the Phoenix bottom coil, which ohm rating would work best with an ego twist?

2) Other than the placement of the coil, what's the difference between the Phoenix top and bottom coil?

3) I've used the Stardust Vision (2.5 - 2.8) with the ego twist and love it. How is the new long wick model different (other than the obvious fact that it uses long wicks)?

I've only been vaping for a month - and have completely quit a 44 year relationship with tobacco - so I really appreciate any advice and guidance I can get. Thank you in advance!

Greetings JerryB

I personally prefer the 2.4-2.6 ohm version of the 3ml Phoenix at 3.6 volts on the Twist but just as in e-juice everyone is a bit different in their preferences. The Twist handles all of the Phoenix ohm variations superbly IMO....:)

Thank you VaperEd!

What would you perceive differently if you were to use the 2.6 - 2.8 ohms?... less intensity?
Also which Phoenix do you prefer the TC or BC? Seems like most prefer the BC.

Cheers!

Hi Jerry,
With the 2.6-2.8 at 3.6 volts you're going to get a much cooler vape and depending on the juice not as intense a flavor. With your twist you can crank up your volts to decide where it's best for you.
Tha top coil phoenix just arrived for most of us in our mailboxes yesterday, so that's why you haven't seen too many comments about them yet.
I got mine and love them right out of the box. Warmer vaper than the bottom coil and fantastic flavor.
You just have to try things to see which you like best.:)

Basicaly, a higher voltage with the 2.6 - 2.8 ohm to get the same vape I get with the 2.4-2.6 ohm . You can use a little bit higher voltage setting with the 2.6 - 2.8 ohm but that also means a little less battery time. I usually vape between 3.2 and 3.8 volts depending on the e-juice. I have not tried the top coils yet. I am really liking the Phoenix bottom coils right now....:)

Thanks for adding a further explantion.:) I've got both phoenixs now and like them both. I think for me it's going to be a matter of deciding which juice I like in each.

Thank you Yiddleboge6! I appreciate the feedback!

That sounds like great advice to me! I'll order up a box of the 2.4 - 2.6 top coil, and then try a box of the bottom coil after that.

Cheers!

Here's a shot of the wifes Phoenix, with her favorite Vape..Rage..which is the most intense Cinnimon I have ever tasted. I have to dry burn the coils every re-fill (3 thus far), but the tubes do not show any signs of cracking at all. This stuff turns to syrup by the time it hits empty, but they just keep on truckin'...these thing are AWSOME !!
