I chatted with Caesar about a week ago ! Soon people soon. The Lv2 is fine! The JD needed a little refining.I assure you that Caesar will not release it until it's perfect!
I'm also in line for the Precious Lv2, and waiting patiently, because once I get it I am sure I will be sick to death of seeing it all day long 
My guess is that Ceasar got a ton more preorders then expected and wants to get as many units completed and ready to go before he puts up anything on the site. I say my guess as well as my hope.

Once he perfects the prototype ! All orders will be built one at a time .Tested/invoiced/then shipped !

I would imagine he'd want to make the end caps in quantity and put them together/test one at a time. If you know you have to make 100's of something with 5 parts, its alot easier and smarter (consistent) to make each of the 5 parts 100's at a time than it is to reset your tools, jigs and what not for each of those 5 parts 100's of times...
If I were him, I'd be thinking about taking those 100's of pre-orders and getting some funding for a CNC machine (if he doesn't have access to one already)....
Last communication was that the PV is done with engineering and all he's working on is perfecting the JD design. If that's true, at some point I'd think it makes sense for him to offer to ship the PV separately.. I'd bet most of us would wait for the JD ...
He's got a new lathe so I'm sure he'll be using that. I have asked to just ship the pv alone then the jd's later but I think he just wants to perfect it altogether and ship every order once.
Yeah, I know, but I didn't get the impression that it was an automated tool... point being that if he's got that many to build, at some point it makes financial sense as a business to invest in keeping up with demand in the future. Maybe his new lathe is good enough for his anticipated needs...
I saw that question and recall his answer- and it makes sense to a point.... he also said the PV was done and all enineering was focused on the JD. And he also said he expected to have it complete and shipping in early september.
I don't want to sound like an infant here, but Caesar generated the buzz by doing the preorder thing and telling us he expected to be shipping in early September. Going completely dark for two weeks as early September turned into second half of September raises the anxiety that he created by launching the preorder.
In all fairness I think Caesar should out of common courtesy give us some idea if it could be any day now, if it could take another week, two weeks, or another two months - assuming he has a day job and a life, for all we know he had to put us on hold while he dealt with priorities eleswhere- which would be fine if he said so...
.. Caesar set the expectation that he'd be shipping already, why do I feel guilty already for politely asking and expecting an answer to the question "ok, it's not shipping early september as we had all hoped, I'm still very excited about getting mine, can you please tell us when you think you will have it?"...
and while I'm in a pissy mood cause I can't dail in my voltage exactly where I want it, why are some of you who aren't Caesar giving others grief for trying to get an answer on the precious site ?

I have a feeling it'll be good news next week, hang in there I'm only using a couple Hello 016 batts till I get my Lv2.
I'd like to know what Caesar has to say so we can put an end to guessing, I mean it only takes a few seconds to post a response here or on his site

I'll pass ty! I ordered 2 ! And was one of the very first to get the lv1! So from what i understand He will work his way down from the original owners list.And the start on # 101 on the Lv2! I love the fact that people were skeptical to get the first one! It's still my all day mod! And the LV2 will be well worth the wait! When its done its done! Still fustrating i know!

Sounds like you are taking this quite personally. It's the 17th in Romania and if it doesn't go out Friday we're looking at the 20th -it's not early September and to you're not Caesar- I didn't say he owed us anything- I'm not whining, questioning anyone's integrity, claiming any obligation or attacking the quality of anyones product - simply stating fact that it would be reasonable (and apparently many agree) to expect an update by now - reasonable men may differ- calling someone infantile for raising or echoing a question that isn't directed at you suggests a deeper problem that you may want to consider getting help for.
The forum wouldn't be full of questions answered only by speculation if we had an update from Caesar - which would only take a few minutes of time. I've spent over 25 years in the technology business and understand what it is to ship a new product and deal with bugs- "day-to-day" is a legitimate answer as are many other short responses - going dark is not considered a valid response in most circles regardless of weather you've purchased anything or not -
Am I impatient- yes and so are others- because our expectations were set for these to start shipping by last week and we are eagerly awaiting an update from the vendor as apparently they are not out the door yet.
Far as I know this is a place to ask vendor specific questions including directly to the vendor -
Perhaps you'll get an extra JD in your box for being so above the rest of us...
