No ish DC! Happy to offer up experience.

Cleaning the system is pretty much hold it under a running tap. Changing flavors would be easy I suspect. Coolest un-exaggerated feature: the fire bottom sticks out a bit. Like the head of a pin. Easier to find the fire button without looking. Prevents rolling off of an inclined plane. Downsides... Fires like the v1. Sometimes a dry finger will not fire, or now put it in 'menu'. You really gotta look at the light sometimes. You may pick it up and press, nothing. Maybe it was on the rest cycle too long (v1 users will see this most as you think it's 'always on'). Maybe it's dry finger.

All in all, I'll take the downsides :)

DC- other then the occassional flood (using Dekang and LF liquids), I have really been enjoying my Lv2. I use 2x18350s and have had no issues going all day on 1 set. I have not had any leaking, but I know I would probably get some if held upside down for a long time. I lay mine on its side with no probs. I only use the multimeter to geta general idea of where I am at voltage wise, then adjust a little to "taste". It works well when once you learn the button sequences.

ukeman, you using the 1400mAh ones? Thanks for pointing out it takes two/day on the vari. I was thinking of getting those new 2900 mAh ones from the thread jimho referenced, but would probably have to kick in for the charger too (waiting on wonderlite to reply to stubear).

So I've been through 6 or 7 tanks worth now. I've seen no pitting or had any metal taste so far. Hesitant to leave it filled overnight. But fill, use, fill again, use, clean under a tap, store. No issues. AW 16340/750mAh batts are lasting about 6 hours until the unit reports 'orange'. Have yet to take it down to red as I always have a spare charged set ready to roll.

Sorry for delayed reponse... FWIW- I'm getting a full day on the ProVari with 18650 IMRs - usually about 4.5-5ml of juice ... Initially was getting less. I've switched over to the Pila charger and run through them several times.. I think if you are running stacked 18350's to get HV though, you're going to get alot less- although I think the Precious should be more efficient since it's not doing the voltage boost.....

Where are you guys getting your IMR 18350s. I saw Madvapes had them but I don't believe they were branded so don't know.
I know AW's are the preferred imr bats, albeit a bit pricey.
Looking for the highest mah possible and the best price wouldn't hurt.

$7.50 @ AW IMR 18350 700mAh LiMN Rechargeable Lithium Battery

$8.00 @ AW 18350 IMR Rechargeable Battery - Lithium (3.0-4.2v) - Batteries & Chargers - OVEREADY Flashlights/Torches - Control The Dark

or here:

flat rate shipping is $5 for the first 6 batteries and .50 each thereafter - AW IMR18350's at $7.50 a piece...

And be careful with mAh ratings- most are exadgerations or based on operating at lower current drain rates.

Great job on the review Keith. This is the way a review should be done!
Anyone else frustrated with the on/off problem (accidentally turning off)?

Thanks, I'm hip to lighthound, just their shipping is a bit pricey. Guess dealextreme's got me spoiled but not a good choice when time is a factor.
Would I be correct to assume you can use a Trustfire TR-001 charger to charge the imr's?

Also I'm thinking about buying one of those little digital multimeters that madvapes sells that can be screwed into the unit at the atty connector. I've got an analog meter and it's hard to read tenths while holding the probes on the unit and I don't want to damage v2 by accidentally touching the side of the connector. Looks like a good solution but I'm curious... do you think there would be a problem using it with the v2 because of the reverse polarity. Shouldn't be but maybe someone knows more than I.
Well, looks like they are out of them now but here they are at notcigs Anyone know?

I wrote Mark about the meter and will let you guys know what he says.

Just curious, has anyone tried a 306 atty on the v2? Because of the four air holes on the 306 compared to two on the 510 it might make a difference with certain juices.
Also do the cisco attys 510 or 306 work on either v1 or v2 Precious?

DC, I used a 306 on the new Precious and it does work, just can't use it with the JD attached unless you can make a metal tube for it so a drip tip can be installed. I mean I guess you can but the stock plastic cover tip does not really look too nice and is just a little short. The cisco's work on both Precious versions but the hit is a little too hard on the version 1 with a fully charged battery. With the version 2, you can always dial down the voltage.

The amount of air holes will make no difference, the JD works the same as the Reo mods where liquid is sucked up through the bottom. Regardless of the amount of holes, the atomizer can sustain only so much juice.

About the assembled voltage indicator from Madvapes, if the polarity can reversed on the meter, I see no reason why this voltmeter cannot be used. Even without switching the polarity, the worst that could happen is you would get a negative reading of voltage, same as if you used a multimeter. Just don't try to use the Madvapes meter with the atty installed, no idea what would happen then.

Oh, and thanks for reading my review, took me a week but it's finally done :p

PS, I am selling one of my Precious-L V2 units, not here but you know where.

Reason I asked about the 306s is I had a couple laying around for about a year. When I got them drip tips didn't exist. I got drip tips for 510s at the same time so never used the 306s. On a whim and to get some use out of them I recently ordered a tip and damn. Not bad at all. I may end up using these on the v1 and 510s on the v2.
Good luck Keith. My v2 is in transit.

Hmmm, been pretty quiet on this thread lately, just as I knew was going to happen. The same thing happened after the sales of the first Precious units so this was no big surprise.

Once people receive their Precious, the enjoyment you get from it makes people overly satisfied and lazy. Chatter soon dies down because there's pretty much nothing left to complain about so we just go on vaping. :vapor: Even I had to force my lazy ... to write a review, took me a week to finish but I finally completed it.

Now I have gotten even lazier, with only battery changes and twice a day liquid refills, I vape all day like a maniac. Getting sick from nicotine and just recently had to drop down to 6mg due to my constant head spinning. I vape all the way till bedtime and lay down in a nicotine induced semi coma, dreams are so lucid that I often find myself dreaming within a dream.

Anyways, when you guys get yours, you will know what I mean. I look forward from hearing from the 1st time users and will check this thread daily.

Aloha, Keith

For me it was 21 days from acceptance in RO. I hate limbo too :( (especially Precious limbo). On the bright side, historically, it should arrive by week's end!

Do you have some batts ready to go? I'm still waiting on some AW 18350's that were backordered. Should be early next week. 16384's don't last 2ml worth.
