Cheers Snork.
I assume David will notify us here of some sort of time frame so we can prepare for the grand battle.

We sure will. We also drafted up a genesis style as well as a top tank design, so we now have three different feeder rebuildables. I guess thats the easy part, getting the machine shops to turn them out, not so easy :)

Oh wow, another equation to consider. Can't wait to see them.

Could he be talking about thermovape?

Yes, I believe so. From my understanding they are in the same place. I went there once to pick up a ThermoVape unit. Nice folks.

...I will add it didn't stay with me long and was actually replaced with a P+. The RES was too much like dripping.

I just haven't figured out a good "set up" yet. Have found the perfect juice, waiting for the perfect mod BUT cartos don't cut it anymore, attys are out of the question , and vivi nova tank tends to ruin the taste of the juice after a day, hence I may just have to learn how to handle a rebuildable after all. Strata may be the solution.

Once you start with rebuildales its hard to go back. Better vapor, more flavor, and you don't throw it away. If the current P+'s are an indicator, which I'm sure they are, the Strata will be fantastic.

While I will always and a day use attys, I do understand your post very much!

Just look at it this way. We played around with filling cartos, dripping and what not so rolling a wick and wraping a wire a few times is not much more hassel as we have done anyway. :2cool:

I don't know about you, but my carto/atty days were daily, ongoing, never-ending filling the carto, cleaning the carto, changing the carto, dry burning the atty, priming the atty, cleaning the atty after it was flooded...MAN I do NOT miss those days. One coil on a rebuildable will last MONTHS and MONTHS. The ONLY thing I do to my rebuildable is dry burn once every few days, refill the juice and change the batteries.

Let's not forget the money that is saved in the long-run too! Kanthal is dirt cheap and a 12" x 12" sheet of mesh (not for the Strata, of course) will last years @ Approx. $13 because the mesh wicks last months and months too...if you dry burn them and rinse them to keep them clean. The only real expense with a rebuildable is your juice and if you DIY...even THAT is inexpensive. Rebuildable is the only way to go, IMO. The Strata will be even less expensive to own because you don't have to buy the mesh for it.

I agree Whole heatedly with one exception and that is the rebuildables that still leak.

Other than that they are game changers. No more $8.00 attys. Woohoo!!!

Chris

If another new device i created is any indicator, i don't think atty's are dead. Though i too think rebuildables are awesome and have their place, it would also be nice to have a device were you can just instantly replace the atomizer with no fiddling and yet still get the vapor and flavor of a rebuildable. Food for thought at any rate...
