Yes, the Precise Strata utilizes the lower half of the current PrecisePlus. No doubt i'll make a universal fit version too at some point.
I haven't finalized cost yet. Release will be as soon as we can get these puppies machined. The bottle neck used to be us here at Super-T, but now its the machine shops who are overwhelmed due to an increase in US manufacturing being on the rise.

I understand the Kick is going to work in these, but have you considered making a variable voltage/wattage module available (like the Russian Samovar)? How about the possibility of multiple tank sizes down the road?
As for hype / teasing, I guess the wick material issue is right up there. And I like this tease every bit. Looking forward to it
I've toyed with some VV/VW ideas. Someday we'll put one together. This mod though was intended to be all mechanical.
As far as tank sizes, we may do different sizes, though it's a pricey piece to machine. The goal is around 4ml capacity. Keep in mind, we are running stainless in the tanks and can keep the wall thickness twice as thin as a comparable quartz/pyrex/polycarbonate tanks which have very thick walls so the same size tank in stainless can hold a good 1ml-2ml more. We do have a bump out in the tank for the sight glass though that takes up some tank volume .

Sounds wicked David, looks like the design many have been dreaming about!! Kick possibility does sound good, the variable wattage will make it even better and even though the wraps will dictate the power, to have it stable is a very nice to have feature imho

I am curious about the knurling on the bottom portion of the strata, does that have something to do with a new locking mechanism? the o.p. says one click lock, and there is no cutout on the switch so I am assuming it is not the same as the current P+ button?
I'm glad to know that when Super-T offered the first batch of the Kick the website took a pounding and took care of the orders with no slowdowns or crashes. I'll bet this offering will create a challenge like no other.
I don't want to think of the possibility of getting snookered out of this. I must begin planning now.

I have a P+ 18 waiting for that Tank/atty.... After giving my first Kick away, I ordered another one yesterday just to be ready for the Strata....
