Any news yet back to sketchy Internet connections for a bit if a list comes up someone please put my name down and drop me a pm I'll be on when I can desperate to get my grubby mitts on one of these damn my stupid job that dumps me in far flung corners with little outside world connections lol.

There will not be any lists, David will give us a heads up when they are gonna go up for sale and then its every person for themselves. David may have mentioned something about two sales at different times so more people will get a chance, but not totally sure if that was this thread or if it is cross thread contamination :)

Did I understand this right, we would NOT have to make our own coils? I am not well rounded in the very arts and crafts dept., hence if the Strata would just go and go like that pink bunny without wick replacement this would be a dream come true and I finally could be done with cartos, tanks that leak etc. Did I misunderstand something?

Yes, you will have to make coils - If I have it straight the wick which you wrap the coil wire around is the proprietary mystery everlasting component. When the heating coil wire itself fails or gets gunked up, you'll wrap a new wire coil around the wick. The wick is what's intriguing us all.

David can you please tell us more of the proprietary wick material that never needs replacing?

I apologize, i can't reveal the wick design or composition at this time. I can tell you i've now made two versions of the Strata for twice the fun! More details will be forthcoming when closer to release.

I can tell you it's not a 16340 version, no, just a different feeder/atomizer version. I've come up with a few designs that i believe are innovative, well excuted designs. More details of course will follow, but no wine will be served before its time...
My guess is a single coil design as well. although not sure if that would be a good guess since the dual design can be used as a single coil as well. My other guess is a standard atty feeder??? If its the latter just make sure it works well with the good old 357's ;)

edit: Or a silica wick version. By the way, I like unripe wine!

hmmm whats the timeline on this David before or after the launch of the Shockwave? Also will this be available for Shockwave or the limited 100 you are making not worth the while to do? Just curious as the Shockwave will be my 1st product by you and have no plans on getting the other models as of yet. Also I have been hunting for a rebuildable atty tank system and wondering if I should hold off a bit longer?

If I had to make an educated guess, I would say that the shockwave will come first. Also, it sounds like there will be a version that works on the shockwave, but it will not be purpose built, it will be just the tank rebuildable portion that will work on most 510 devices. No eta as of yet.

That sums it up well atavanhalen!
