Now now ocelot. Control yourself. There are only this many holes I can exhale from

Wow it sure is... And lizziebeth snatched most of them![]()
What will you do with all of those??

Heeeee! I'm trying to own a ProVari rainbow! But seriously, the Mr. is finally vaping more and wanted another (blue)...and I saw that purple mini and I've wanted one of those for a while...and I pulled the trigger on the new green color at ProVape because I had a truckload of rewards points to spend!
I might have a little Provaddiction going on here!![]()
I would very very strongly recommend it to be on the negative post. Simply because it completely eliminates the possibility of a cross-post short.
Also interesting you mentioned the resistance, but when I got my provari, I would always build at 2ohms, and crank up the voltage.
For some reason, I just find that sitting at 1.3-1.4 ohms gives me a great vape; the coil doesn't take too long to fire, and I get a good length of wire heating up. Just overall a great vape. I've been vaping my 1.3 ohm coils at 4.1 volts and it's just phenomenal for my needs

Yes...to all of it, especially the negative post part.
My first coil was 2.1 ohms. I have worked my way down to preferring a 1.2-1.4 ohm coil. Best response time, by far.

I can't wait to see a picture of them all together.
The green really has me thinking about grabbing a mini, must resist!

How's the heat with the chimney coil ?. RiP looked like his ... was ready to cave in when he did it on his Kayfun. Maybe the tighter draw combined with the chimney coil and high watts might have done it. I'll have to give the chimney coil a shot.
I was going to say "do eeeet" but realized I was just trying to make myself feel less crazy!
Wait, where else would I blow smoke out of?! :O

It doesn't look any harder than the RM2, which I find easier to rebuild than a Protank.
Kayfun is way easier that a RM (assuming the RM2 is similar to the original). You have way more room to build.

I've never seen an RM and don't know the difference. This is an RM2.

Alright! Finished work early an here I am. Double 32ga twisted kanthal, 7 wraps, 1.3 ohms. vertical build.

The single most impt thing: the coil must must must be aligned with the airhole
![]()
My little secret to ensure success. A lot of people fail and say that the airflow is horrendous even after aligning the coil with the hole. That's because during the wicking stage, the cotton gets caught between the airhole and the bottom of the coil. Leave the drill bit in it while wicking, and you're guaranteed a clear air channel

Unfortunately, the nature of the build is such that the top leg is extra long because it has to come down to the screw. So that leads to a hot leg. Place a wick over (it reaches down to the deck on both side). Extra vapor!

And of course, the vape:

Interesting I've learnt about the vertical build is that less isn't always more. Unlike in normal microcoils where using too much cotton will choke the coil and lead to dry hits, there is absolutely nothing to get choked here.
You can see here that the build got pretty fat and bulky at the end.
Just from simple trial and error, I found that getting a fatter wick around the coil gives me a slight wetter and definitely way more saturated vapor. It's almost like im eating it. Very very flavorful. Wicking is also not at issue at all. I've got Boba's bounty on this sucker and she's working sweet.
