Did BWB stop making RY4 again? I bought some fairly recently... last month or so

Sandy (and all BWB RY4 mourners),

As far as I recall, Don posted that the original RY4 might be available on the BWB site "from time to time," or whenever the ingredients were available to him. I took that to mean sporadically and with no certainty. I think that batch of RY4 you mentioned from last month sold out in like five hours or something equally ridiculous.

Bill I have said this more than once...if you ever had a sale it would go down as the largest RY4 blow out in vaping history.....:vapor:

passer,

If I ever did that, I'd want my stash of RY4 (105 bottles currently, including RY4 flavoring concentrates) to be distributed among the dedicated posters on this thread. No dumping on the Classifieds for just anyone to get...

My Conspiracy review was meant to address this exchange, waaaay back in post 2075:

Thank you, ma'am! I'll be interested to hear your take on it.

Will adhere to the OT request from billherbst but in my own defense, it was not me that originally mentioned this product. It was a discussion between thehangdude and RickMC and I just chimed in;) And I do maintain that some other folks lingering here might find my review useful from an RY4-lovers' standpoint. That's all I'll say about this for now.

I'm very sorry to hear that BWB has stopped making their legendary RY4 since I never got to try any. Oh well, lots of other things to keep me busy. Like the fact that Vulcan Vape is sending me 12ml bottles of Want2Vape Rock Star and RY4. Can't wait to do a compare-and-contrast on them. And I still have to try M&P RY4, Tobacco Dolce and Tobacco Haze.

Dulce de Leche from BWB is a very good vape, but lacks the tobacco of a true RY4. Mixing it with Vanilla Bean might make a good replacement, as long as you don't expect it to taste anything like BWB's RY4.

Since I have found myself liking the vanilla side of RY4 recently, I have been mixing Vermillion's KY4 with their Vanilla Premium (alternately into the carto).

On a side note, I pulled out two bottles of Joogler's Blend from 08/2011. Both are 18mg and purchased at the same time. Only difference is PG/VG. The 30/70 one is dark red. The 80/20 one is much lighter, a medium red-orange. Why?

scarf-ace, I don't think anyone took real offense. This thread has been sidetracked before, and no doubt will be again. You are very correct that Conspiracy has no link to RY4. I was the one who mentioned it first here, so I take full responsibility.

As others are saying, I think MOV has become my current favorite RY4 with their Classic CountRY4. It has that unique tobacco background with a true American RY4 flavor. It works great as an all day flavor.

Scarf-ace, I chimed in with my 2 cents worth too and as thehangdude says, no offense here either.

hangdude, I really do not expect BWB Vanilla Bean mixed with Dulce De Leche and Backo to taste like the original BWB RY4, only looking for an alternative that suites my palate. Given the fact I like so many of Don's juices, I can only assume the concoction will be satisfying. But then again, I am only about 3 months into vaping and have never tried mixing different juices together so who knows, it may be awful. Even if it is, I bet that each by itself will be good and not set aside to gather dust! I do know that I will have fun trying without spending too much. Even if this experiment fails, I still have MOV and Quic Nic and Prime Vaping to alternate between. I also am giving Mom & Pops RY4 and RY4v2 some more steeping time (had them both about a week). These are a little too sweet for my taste currently, but not bad!

No offense anywhere by anyone, and no one's hand was meant to be smacked with that nun's ruler from parochial school.

My "traffic cop" post was not aimed at anyone in particular, and certainly not scarf-ace, since she was just the last link in a chain that stretched back a ways.

I wrote my post because I felt that the thread had been wandering more recently. I think I understand why. After 14 months and more than 2,000 posts, how much more can we all say about RY4? I'd imagine that people have been posting somewhat more frequently about non-RY4 juices out of a sincere intention to keep the thread going. I know that I've written more of my "philosophical musings" than I did early on for just that reason.

Perhaps we might expand the thread to include more aspects of DIY. New pre-mixed RY4 flavor concentrates are appearing in the marketplace (I now have twelve of them), and some of us do try to concoct our own DIY RY4s from scratch---not that I've ever had much success with that personally. Anyway, there might be some fresh blood in that arena. Just a thought, you know? Running it up the flagpole to see who salutes...

All good, Hang :D I too love MOV but as I mentioned earlier, the vapor leaves a lingering odor that prevents me from using it at work. Not sure why?

Target, mixing retail juices is dicey. Sometimes you come up with masterpieces, and sometimes the results are fit only for the bin. (Don't ask me how I know.)

PHEEEW! I had to go back and read all that. Usually I'm the one in trouble....lol but to stay on topic hang dude u just reminded me I have jooglers blend sitting in my drawer unused Im gonna go try it right now! 30MLS!
(Clint Vapewood is good too)

I find Joogler's Blend (which is Joogler's take on RY4) and Clint Vapewood to be remarkably similar. So much so that when I began to run low on Clint Vapewood a month ago---I had only a 10ml bottle to start with---I just mixed what was left in a 2:3 ratio with Joogler's Blend---I had a 30ml bottle of that---in order that I wouldn't have to argue with myself about buying more Clint Vapewood.

I could discern barely any difference in taste between Clint Vapewood before ("pure") and Clint Vapewood after ("adulterated.") A tiny shift in the flavor profile, perhaps, but nothing worth noting. And still delicious.

Clint Vapewood was the first ejuice I liked. Don't forget to give us a short review on Joogler's Blend when you try it.

I have been lazy lately, and have been putting off some reviews. I have three RY4s and another on the way. Then I will send Mt O's Double Happy RY4 and Apollo's RY4 off to Bill for a real review.

Well, I for one hope this thread does not end any time soon. If that ever happens, I vote we include all regular posters here and form our own "RY4 Club" LOL. I know nothing about DIY, so anything on that subject will have me in left field. But hey, maybe that is a good thing. I have been going through the progression from gas station e-cig, to ego, to Mod rather quickly (3 months). So, naturally DIY would be the next thing, right?

The smell is of classic Chinese RY4, complete with artificial sweetener. It tastes Chinese too, but not quite classic. It has more vanilla than caramel, yet more tobacco than vanilla. Plenty of the malto sweetener that gives it that Chinese flavor.

The tobacco is artificial, kind of tin-like. It really isn't bad at all, when compared to other oriental blends. It seems to have that sourness that some here like.

If you like the Chinese type Ry4s, you might give this a try. It has a good strong tobacco. It has no wierd flavors that make it bad. Very clean flavor with no nuttiness. It wicks good across different voltages.

Interesting... because they're cheaper than even some chinese ry4s.

What do their bottles look like? lol. I like the Olympian concept.

I got a sample pack with six flavors (5ml each). They are simple clear bottles with a simple white label. It tells vendor (Mount Olympus), flavor, nicotine level and PG/VG.
