Gandalf is amazing! Just got a fresh new bottle, and just dripped Heavenly for the first time in an io6, and it is awesome. HHV just has amazed me so far. Dragon's Fire is also quite nice, but Gandalf is just plain and simply an all day
vape.
I started off having a hot love affair with
Gandalf back in June. Bought
Dragon's Fire in July and was initially a bit perplexed (I kept tasting banana in it, but I knew it had no banana flavoring in the recipe mix). Now, one season later, my passion for Gandalf has cooled, and we are "just good friends," while I have warmed to Dragon's Fire (steeping morphed whatever my brain interpreted as banana into "something else). I'm still not totally infatuated with Dragon's Fire, but I like it as much as I like Gandalf.
As for
Heavenly tobacco, here's part of the ad copy from the HHV product page:
"Why did we change the name from Heavenly RY4? Customers have raved about our new take on the traditional RY4, but it is more rich and complex than any RY4 on the market, so we decided to rename it Heavenly
tobacco."
As often happens, I take issue with the vendor's copy (when it feels to me like hype in hawking a product). "More rich and complex than
any RY4 on the market?" Well, I agree that Heavenly Tobacco is rich and complex, but "more than any RY4 on the market" sticks in my craw as unfounded and probably uninformed, since I seriously doubt that anyone at HHV has vaped as many RY4s as I have. Of course HHV has a right to their opinion, but the description isn't offered as
opinion, but as
fact (which it's definitely not). In fairness, many vendors do this (offering opinions that masquerade as facts), but that's advertising mantra for you: always claim that your product is better than anyone else's.
All six of the HHV tobacco blends I've tried are good---in my opinion---and I gave Heavenly Tobacco a grade of
B+ on the most recent Big RY4 Report Card, which puts it in the Top 33. Not too shabby to be in the top third. It's not among my personal favorite RY4s, however. YMMV, of course.
