I do like BWB RY4, one of my Favorites. I have plenty of IKV RY4 as well but I haven't tried IKV-Gold.
Katdarling what does it taste like.
So anyone thinking they don't like there BWB RY4 can just PM you don't want your juice, haha
I would like to hear how IKV Gold is, and for the above statement I'm serious.

I thought IKV gold and IKV RY4 was the same?

Has anyone tried Flavourart ry4 (Fumo elettronico :: Aroma RY4 - Flavourart. La sartoria degli aromi link is for flavour, but they also have e-juice)? How it compares to Dekang and similar? I heard that their shade and burley are great juices, but never heard anything about ry4.

RY4 is a relatively new flavoring to the FA lineup. They had a flavoring and juice called oRYental 4 for a long time, probably still do. Supposedly an Italian variation on the RY4 recipe, whatever that meant. To my palate, oRYental 4 was the single worst RY4 I have ever vaped and occupied last place in the Big List rankings from day one right on through until the rankings ceased. Dreadful. Hopefully their new RY4 is better. It could hardly be worse.

And yes, Ikenvape's RY4 has always been named IKV RY4 Gold.

It's not a sweet ry4...more of a nutty flavor throughout, especially the exhale. I have been mixing my vg and pg together since I have so much of this stuff. I really like it a lot. All my tobacco juices are at 18 mg. One problem though.... I really need to test the nic content of my IKV ry4 because it's hard for me to believe it's only 18mg. This stuff is making my blood race after only a few puffs every time and the throat hit is pretty ridiculous. No other 18mg juice hits me like this.

edit: Whoops...missed the part where you said you have plenty of IKV ry4. So you know what it tastes like already cause ry4 gold is their ry4.

One that should be probably be tried out and reviewed by a pro: Voo's Broo by Copper Creek. For my money, this is an RY4, but I'll defer to the experts. :)

I'm wanting to try that next order , I'm a fan of the Twisted TObacco and the VooDoo ; however I'm certainly not an RY4 "expert" not even close

We don't have any "pros" on this thread. We do have, however, a considerable number of very experienced amateurs (this includes me). Between us, we've sampled the vast majority of RY4s and RY4-variants in the marketplace, and---as a group---we are quite knowledgeable about RYs. Passerbyeus is certainly a member-in-good-standing of that group; Jim Bob is, too. I don't know how big the group is, but I'd think at least 20-30 posters, either regular or occasional.

Are we to be trusted in our perceptions, opinions, and judgments about RY4s? Of course not. Not because we are liars or idiots, but because juice reactions are always subjective and all over the map, from love to hate. The best, most delicious juice ever made (if such a thing could exist) would be lucky to get more than a 50% approval rating from vapers who try it. So, if anyone says, "I loved such-and-such RY4, and I'm sure you will too!," ignore the hype. Maybe you will, maybe you won't. It's a roll of the dice.

Way back when (1970s? 80s?), Sara Lee (the bakery company) had an ad campaign for their frozen baked goods and desserts hawked in grocery stores with the tag line/jingle: "Nobody doesn't like Sara Lee!" Well, that's advertising for you. (Truth is the first casualty of War and Advertising...) The slogan was not true then, it's not true now, and it will sure as hell never be true in the realm of e-liquids (or vaping hardware, either).

Be that as it may, most posters on this thread (whether they qualify for the group of expert-amateurs or not) are quite willing to share their perceptions and opinions, which is as it should be. We're here on ECF to kick the can around the playground and have a good time doing so.

Well, I was kind of referring to the fact that while I tend to love RY4's, I haven't tried enough of them to have that much experience (about 4, I think?). So for "pro's", read "people far more experienced than myself." ;) I'm interested to hear whether you and the folks you note above would classify Voo's Broo as an RY4 (I know they vary a lot), and how it compares to some of the other offerings. I really like it, so I'll buy it regardless of classification or reviews, but knowing what you guys think, i can look at your other ratings and get some ideas of others I might like or not. I learn a lot from reading reviews (some more than others - you know some of the threads I'm talking about!)

Forgive me for trying to take a shortcut here. I've read most of the thread but admittedly not all of it(lots to read in here!). I recently received a bottle of BWB RY4 from what looks to be the final batch. Count me now among the many who are saddened by its departure. It's strikingly similar to a flavor I was searching for, the Premium brand tobacco flavor(seems impossible to find out what they use in it). Problem there is they only sell it in pre-filled cartos.

Anyhow, my question is, is there another RY4 out there that's very similar to BWB's? I've tried lots of juices in the two weeks I've been vaping and I'm hoping to avoid spending a bunch more money sampling various RY4's. If there isn't one similar, is there one you might recommend to a BWB RY4 lover? I couldn't tell you exactly why I like this one so much. Heck, I can't even describe the flavors I'm tasting in it! That makes it kind of difficult to pick another one out of the many that exist lol

Ken, I have not tried BWB RY4. Which premium tobacco in pre-filled cartos does it taste like?
Sandy

p.s. My RY4 of choice lately is Kick Bass.

:D:D:D

...There are those who will do reviews and every juice they try from one vendor they think are the best, is it because that person is just a fan boy and kissing .... or is it because the juice is that good... very tricky, I personally will not do that, I tell exactly what I think and yes I could be wrong at that times...example Mountain Oaks RY4, when I first got that juice I hated and simple said on this thread it taste like pine, but now I really like the stuff, I still hold true to what I first stated about it but its grown on me in different ways......

LOL. Joogler's Blend is another RY4 that has a different kind of taste, but tastes great. Both (MOV's and Joogler's) have a unique tobacco. In both, I find it refreshing. I think both make great all day flavors.

With MOV's tobacco, I find it to be more citrus than pine. With Joogler's, it seems to be floral. Neither would be considered classic RY4, but from what I've tried I am not sure I would like the original.

I seems to me that when a vendor tries to recreate the "lost formula" of Runyan, I find I don't like it. TopShelfVapor uses what I think is Grape in their RY4, but I like it. SpringVapor uses Licorice, yet it is very good. Several vendors use nuts.

The one thing that turns me off of certain RY4s is the fake sweetness. I get it from many of the Chinese blends, that Koolaid-like Malto taste.

I guess what I am saying is I gravitate toward variant RY4s.

I haven't said "heh" in a while... mostly because I have been hung up on menthol...

On my last order of P-38 from Aroma, I received a bottle of dark honey tobacco w/ wta

If you're not shy about the wta... I highly suggest this juice to the Bounty Hunter fans... it's a 100% VG... boba's thickness... an ry4 variant more than a honey tobacco... great stuff...

The other RY4's and ry4 variants I have been buying/using/enjoying lately are Janty's Elixir and Bluemist's caramel tobacco (100%VG).
