Were you attacked by chickens? I ask because i have been attacked by 2 different roosters and some mean geese! They chased me down. Roosters like to spur you and it hurts, geese can bite real hard plus they flog you with their wings!!!

ETA: Left out the Turkey who hated me for no reason but he hated everyone. The people ate him for revenge.

sigh... my dear friend loli brings out the honesty in me...

due to abject poverty and such, i was raised in part by my grandparents. in the heart of what would later become to be known as Silicon Valley, we grew all of our veggies, and for protein raised rabbits, and, yes, chickens {shudder}...

Grampa was old school. He taught me how to swim by tossing me in a pond. (Gil might remember the toxic pond in front of the Sylvania plant in Mountain View on Evelyn Ave, alongside the railroad tracks)

When i was five, Grampa decided it was time to help out a bit more. He handed me the axe, carefully explained the proper stroke, and...

the freakin headless chicken took off running!!! so did i

i am now 62. the last time i ate the flesh from hell was 57 years ago.

i also couldn't stomach eggs for about 30 or 35 years. one night, i had a very special "date". she woke me up the next morning with scrambled eggs.

needless to say, i'm rather fond of eggs, especially scrambled :)

Hey brother, once I get into the swing of things with mechanicals and rebuilding, maybe even DIY, be prepared because I'll bug the hell out of ya! I've been quiet with you a lot because I don't know much about the things you're good at.

Give Lenny a pat on the head for me buddy, hope ya'll have a great weekend. How's your sis digging ECF so far? Have you created a monster or is she not on much?

I really dig it when I see family in the same area on the 'net, like Debbie and her mom, Robert and Julie, Lisa and wayne, etc..

RHP

Pat you bug me all you want brother, I'm hoping you'll jump in to the rba's and if I can help ya with DIY I'm all for that to.
Lenny's buggin me right now for a treat, but no feats no treats,,
Sis is in REO bliss she has two Grands and is looking at the next one, she's already good at building coils and even disabled the lock on one Grand.
It's been fun having friends with Grands and sis having one has been wonderful !

Very scary memory (((hugs)))

I was attacked by a rooster when i was 5 then chased by one when i was 40 :) The first one was the worst because he stalked me then jumped on my back as i turned to run away. The 2nd one made me beg my DH for a fenced in yard. Everyday that rooster waited for me. He would hide behind the shed sometimes :( Well now my yard is fenced and the rooster is probably dead by now :) i HATE ROOSTERS!!!

I can only kill bugs.

Ya can't grill it until ya ,,, well you know .
Had Bambi burgers on the grill tonight, (awesome) I won't explain the process to get em to the bun.
But it's really no different then chicken nuggets, a New York strip, bologna, hot dogs or leather shoes gloves & hand bags.

;)

Can't argue w/ that logic folks! Reminds me of that thing I said a while back when Val and half of reoville pounced on me for not knowing the difference between a grill and bbq.. A guy walks into a restaraunt in kansas city to eat and waiter asks how he likes his meat done so he says something like, "Just bring out the cow, I'll eat what I want and ride the rest home." :p

What else is in the news, well looks like fasttech is having a sale, free shipping too
