I overdid my knee yesterday, I decided to try to "walk faster" (I won't embarrass myself and say speed walk) with the dog. She was happy, I got a few steps then was in trouble the rest of the walk. I took pain meds last night for the first time in a while. I think that means I won't be making it to the gym today as planned Oh well, live and learn. I had to try, I seemed to do well enough in Vegas walking fast to keep up with everyone (excitement and alcohol no doubt).

DH is off to work, time to go back to bed! TTYL

Tried Vash's DIY NET method on a pipe tobacco blend of the owner of a tobacconist in a nearby village. The juice is amazing, tastes just as if you press your nose inside the tobacco pouch - divine. Thx Vash.

Laurin asked if Sister came over to carve the pumpkins in the Smoke 'em thread. I only air dirty laundry in the Lounge, so here I am.

No, she didn't come over. She knew the plan was to come over Sunday and carve, so she carved hers Saturday night. Sunday I realize she's not coming over, so I ask our Mom if she is still going to come...."No, I think I'll stay here and smoke."

When I smoked I avoided long car trips with non-smokers when possible, but I never quit seeing family that didn't smoke. We had a great time doing it last year, I just don't get it.

Turned out okay though, picked out a playlist I would never listen to if they were here and had a blast all by myself. And ate the special snacks I got for Sister.

Impossible to Like this post....although the $8000 part isn't bad! Kudos to your brother for being so brave. Things weren't always so great in my family either, but we just smile and act like nothing ever happened....nothing truly heals that way. I do hope you and your Dad make peace, if that is what you want.
