Friday Curly Doodle and I wandered over to neighbor’s house..... He had a new weed eater that had a sound unfamiliar to us. Spent an hour catching up and time with neighbor who lives way back behind us as they were going for a long walk...... Neighbor, with new weed eater, is pretty literal, non hysterical guy, an archetect, saw the puma crossing road early morning,, going into work, about two weeks ago. I trust his observational skills and he's a texas ˝boy." I made a mistake reporting this to DH. He may forbid me from working outside at night, as I’ve done for years. Trusted neighbor said it was not Jake mastiff....... too big. Bubs were especially excited tonight out front. Couldn't see anything but came back in quickly from unfenced area. Neighbor said puma looked well fed and healthy. Front fenced yard is 6ft chain link. Puma can easily get in...... but why when so much easy prey. End of wildlife report.

Hugs, Feisty Alice

happy mothers day Alice :)

Thanks Sonny. Total nurturing day by DH. Started off with chunky microwave eggs finished with Jarlesberg cheese topping chunky eggs that are his ˝orgasmic eggs˝ sans green onoins and bacon bits. We spent the evening marothoning American Slang on H2. Kept thinking of Clyde as H2 is a favorite of his. Hoping to do an overnight to you in coming month. We need to plan for when Clyde has some time for dinner or lunch. Celery hearts and fresh milled peanut butter promised. You can treat me to your chili or pot o beans and I'll bring Jan's (jkokie) recipe for most incredible cornbread.

Been thinking happy birthday to you all day.

Hugs and love, Alice mom

Good morning how's everything treating you?

Over did it with the calories today....seriously....but it was so worth it. Doing well :) Getting ready to head to bed as I got to get up in about 6 hours and get back to work. It felt so weird not responding to ANY emails today. In fact, I was only at my desk for about 15 minutes this morning before we headed out to brunch. The family made me stay away from the office and it has been a welcome respite.

Thanks, Alice....I hope you had a good day as well.

I actually only ate half of my breakfast. If I had eaten the whole thing I would have busted my calorie cap by well over 1500 calories. As it is, I was only over by 494. Which puts me right on target for the week. I expected it, so I held back about 300 calories yesterday alone.

Breakfast was coffee, blueberry coffee cake, cinnamon butter, fruit assortment with a brandy whip cream, Dungeness Crab Cake Benedict with Yukon fisherman's potatoes. Going to eat the other half tomorrow morning. Skipped lunch altogether. Dinner was sushi and desert was orange sherbert.

And with that, I'm taking my full belly to bed. Sleep well when you get there my friends. For those of you who are getting up, have a great start of the week.

Fun Monday's not an oxymoron, dear Reonauts! Yes, I'm pulling another all-nighter for a very early drive to my new far-away GI doc; but I'm looking forward to the sudsy, hard, and strangely satisfying work of a day on the traveling dog-washing van after the appointment. Hope you all find your days strangely satisfying, as well:)!

Morning everyone, make it a good one. Hope all the "Moms" had a special day yesterday.

Becoming quite a fan of this mini 2.1 its been going everywhere with me topped with a chalice and super short drip tip.
What a tiny powerhouse. I love the wood REOs but its nice to have the smallest box possible for certain occasions :)

Just wish I had 2 more chalice attys. Only have 2 and have 4 REOs juiced up switching back and forth. Got a box full of RBAs that are not making the grade too. Going to pick up a couple more drippers and see about moding them.

Morning everyone.

That breakfast looks so good rhapsodies.
I was (once) a head chef at a local catering deli and sit down. I can appreciate!
That biscuit with spinach? and the poached egg with holindaise sauce looks amazing.
So does that waffle right about now. I'm thinking about making a big breakfast today :)
maybe my mum would like something. she is hard to cook for though, she is gluten free.

Hope everyone had a good mothers day.
