Our neck of the woods will be invaded tomorrow. Gun season opens. Guns echo all thru the woods and they seem to all stop and show off their deer. We live in the middle of deer leases all around us.
Some critter killed our Black Australorp Roosters Feathers were everywhere. At least the ones (hens) were saved from the culprits. They were in a coop. Love our brown eggs they grace us with

Only Amusement parks I went to in Ohio were Geauga Lake and Cedar Point.. Geauga Lake is closed.

Went to Kenny wood in PA. Kenny wood by far my favorite.

Can't ride the ride's anymore.

Yeah, Cedar Point and Geauga Lake were great. Haven't been to Cedar Point in a while, but they are still going strong.

Sorry about your roosters We lost a few hens before I finally convinced Mom & Sis we needed to fence them in. We live smack dab in the middle of 4000 acres of timberland that is also leased out to the hunters. I love deer season because I get to watch everyone that comes in, they have to open a gate right at the edge of my yard. Lots of cuties to see. I hate deer season because the weather is perfect for trampling through the woods with the dogs, but I'm scared of one of us getting shot.

I want a kitty but not with that name

Although i have had some male dogs with funny names. One was named Greasy and Another one was named Dirty. My husband called Greasy, "Monkey" instead and my brother called him "Grease Monkey". The Vet laughed, but hey the name fit because he always looked so greasy even though he was not. Dirty only was dirty sometimes

We used to live in Englewood when I was a kid and I always loved Kings Island. My cousins and I used to make it there at least once a year.

I had a cat named "Bear" and he was a master escape artist. I lived in a huge apartment complex and would run around screaming, "Bear! Bear!" I am sure the neighbors thought some crazed maniac was screaming for beer...

Good morning REOvillians!

The chicken is in the crockpot, with the mirepoix and neck in the bottom. I stuffed rosemary sprigs, onion and lemon remnants (after I squeezed it on the bird) inside and sprinkled salt, pepper and spices all over it with a sprig of fresh cut rosemary on top. I sure hope this works out, making stock and cooking the bird at the same time really appeals to me! Even if the bird doesn't cook as well as roasted or bricked, I am sure the stock will be fine.

Healing prayers out to those who need them, and thinking of Dave who has been gone too long with his shoulder break!

I'm sure everyone knows how sweet and generous Kay is. But, I thought I'd post it anyway in case anyone has forgotten. She has gifted me an extremely nice something and I was speechless from her generosity.
