Well, I am pregnant (and a guy!)

I already have a pic of the little tyke:

Traded for my provari. I felt guilty, but I expect the provari will get dusty when a new grand ends up next to it.

Norm & Lisa were the first Reonaughts I interacted with when I set foot in the REOlounge, I don't think many folks were awake at that hour. Lisa's patience and Norman's "likes" always kept me coming back for more, so all compliments or complaints about RHP being here should be directed at those two fine folks!

Good to see some of the gang coming back together again, graveyard shift on weekdays for Reoville 7 months ago were Scotty, Darrel, Ed, Norman, Lisa, Val, Jim, Kay, Jack, Tripp, Dave/George, Frankie to me. Karen's beautiful photo of the day rang in the new day with davelog's factoid, parma's quote, and a paragraph from the day in the life of lostknitter :)

What can I say about Kay that hasn't already been said? I adore her ever since I heard (with photos as proof) she climbed up tree's! :p

do you boil or otherwise prep the XC first? i'm bout to try some because i'm also too lazy to change cotton all the time.

You said XC so I assume you mean ceramic and not silica. If you bought it from a vape source, they should have already kiln treated it. If not, boiling won't help it. I love my XC, have never tried the XS but next build (if I remember) is going to be the ekowool I got at vapefest.

xc is mine yeah- it's ceramic - xs is ekowool - i do well with it and i once got about a month out of it - Nutz got about the same. it's this weird thing with me and cotton wool wicks, i.e. they are crap and don't last!

'oh but it only takes 2 mins to change them (and use another 5ml of juice to wet them)'

make sure you squonk every third puff - do what??

vsummer...nice quit date :D

I was about 3:30 central time. If it was not for a little slip I'd be right with ya! I am still sticking with that date in my head. More to lose by slipping again.

Well, I went to a funeral and bummed a cigarette and that was the last one I remember, and it was well after our quit date. I also smoked one here and there when on pain meds, a few hits and it was snubbed out though - yuck. To tell you the truth, I don't feel a little slip is going to make me change the date I started vaping. That was the day I realized I could give up cigarettes! If for some crazy reason, I picked up a cigarette and smoked one tomorrow, I wouldn't care since I would know that I would go right back to vaping, and that is really all that matters - the ones I DON'T smoke and not the ones I did.

I guess what I am saying is, we quit smoking on June 13, 2012. That's all.

can you imagine resetting it to 0? cos i smoked? no - me either! i forgot if that was central time. Every smoker hates you now (and me) and at $6+ a packet i don't blame them.

i got the XC about the same time i got some ekowool. the ekowool came with a note to boil it. i also think i saw a video of someone torching one or the other before starting the coil.

plus with ekowool you can dry burn your coil without removing the wick :)
ETA i neither boil or torch my ekowool i dont think it needs it

Ive converted from the hemp to the ecowool I was tired of reworking every 3-5 days  over 2 weeks on first ecowool wick now and loving it :)

exactly what i'm looking for. half the time i change cotton wicks, i end up destroying the coil

OH MY! That is a very, very nice one! I love it! What kind of wood is that??!!!!

Looks like my old Purpleheart It was my first but I had to let it go :( I doubt thats it tho if it was I'd maybe be tempted to buy it back :lol;

Yeah Val it's a Purple Heart. Not sure if I'm second owner or if someone else owned it first. But having said that good luck getting me to part with it! lol I've not even got to touch it yet and I can already say for certain it will be mine for a long time to come. :)

ETA She didn't get it in the picture but it has a matching brass RM2 as well. And a nice surprise of a cover made by Karen for it. Talk about a great ready to rock Woodvil!

I have been running an A7 with the same XC and coil for over a month, I dry burn it and rinse it, burn the water off it and squonk. For a few weeks it was pretty much the only one I vaped, but have been alternating now with an RM2 and cotton. For the RM2, I have a nanocoil with cotton bed, the wick lies underneath rather than inside the coil and that works great without having to rewick so often or having to worry about threading it through the coil. Much easier, and I think it is being called the dragon or some such thing.
