So did the test results come back yet?

She ace'd the exam, Lt! Thanks for asking brother. (And Val too, she asked me earlier in private).

Hats off to all of the REOvillians who held a good thought for her to pass, who knows maybe it actually helped on some cosmic level.

Good morning and TGIF Reoville! Please have a safe and relaxing weekend, folks.

do you boil or otherwise prep the XC first? i'm bout to try some because i'm also too lazy to change cotton all the time.

good god no! stick a pin in it - wrap a coil - job done! prepare it!! with what - a pep-talk?

T

I have been running an A7 with the same XC and coil for over a month, I dry burn it and rinse it, burn the water off it and squonk. For a few weeks it was pretty much the only one I vaped, but have been alternating now with an RM2 and cotton. For the RM2, I have a nanocoil with cotton bed, the wick lies underneath rather than inside the coil and that works great without having to rewick so often or having to worry about threading it through the coil. Much easier, and I think it is being called the dragon or some such thing.

I tried the cotton thing for a couple months. Using NETs, I had to change the cotton at least once per day. That got old fast. (face it, I am basically lazy) So, I switched to XC-132. I make a 9 wrap micro coil at 1.6, with a diameter of 5/64 (one step up from 1/16) and the wick slips right in. If need be, I can still change the wick without damaging the coil. I have gone as long as 2 weeks on the same coil and wick.

Good morning, REOvil!

Anybody else going to carve any pumpkins?

By the way, the PG preservation attempt was a bust. Very promising the first three days, pumpkin was moist and clean, not cracking and looking like a raisin...but the fourth day was a disaster, the worst mold I've ever seen on a pumpkin. :(

RHP- Huge congratulations to your girl! What an accomplishment! I'm severely challenged in the mathematical department myself and probably have a pretty good insight to the hair pulling you've been doing teaching.

My preferred wicking material is XC-116 ceramic wick. (Kiln-treated per 3M specs) I ran out last week, but am expecting a few feet in the mail today. The German silica is almost as good as far as wicking and flavor go IMO..

I've been getting my XC-116 here:

Mornin REOville! So it's Friday, have to get my stupid Self Assessment done today. I don't even know what to put on it, everyday all we hear is do NOT deviate from the approved procedures, watch your time, meet your goals, why did you do that, what were you thinking when you did this, but in our assessment they tell us to make it SHINE, WTH??????? I can think of a lot of things I could easily put in it, but it would all be very snarky, and I don't think that's a good career move. I guess I'll just be very Joe Friday and just the facts. It certainly won't SHINE, but it will be done and I will get more sleep than I have the past 3 nights. I hate when work makes me loose sleep. Hope everyone is doing well.
RHP-big congratulations on your lady's test results!
Nutz, so nice to see you in the lounge last evening, don't stay away for so long next time, and we need pics of Zippo!

Just get 'er done, Jeni....you SHINE no matter what. We had to do self assessments at my last job and I was always a nervous wreck for no reason too.
Good luck!

Thank you, Lisa, for saying " I'm the epitome of the Reo way...", but truly, I'm only a follower....I saw SO many doing things like this when I first got here, so I just gave it a shot and realized how good it makes a person feel.
And believe me, I fought it for a long time:laugh:

True...but it doesn't really matter how you got there....just that you did. ;)
