Anyone skimming this thread might be alarmed by a cat picture followed by some sort of skinned critter getting shoved in a fryer. ;)

OMG

When you put it like that it is kind of creepy! Especially after what I wrote in the other thread about "provisions" at my house after the zombie apocalypse

Good morning everyone :) went to doc eye is scuffed should heal up fine in a few days have drops but for the life of me I can't seem to line up the dropper with my eye maybe a mirror will help
I hope all are well here :)
Oh boss said nothing going on so I took the day off  several jobs got cancelled due to horrid amounts o rain :D

I use my thumb and index finger to hold my eyelids open, and then drip the eye drops with the other hand. I find it helps my aim. :D

Patches are a no no unless major damage. They actually drastically increase chance of infection. Bugs like the damp dark.
When I try to drip in eye it waters so bad I can't see what I'm doing

You're supposed to be dripping eye drops, not your e-liquids. ;)

Every now and then, I wake up in the middle of the night with my eyelid stuck to my eyeball. Whichever side of the face it's on starts weeping and having crazy sinus activity. That's why I have eye drops everywhere, so I don't have to go through that very often.

Well, I didn't know you have bugs in your eye! Good luck with healing.

I will defer to my ophthalmologist's recommendation and patch if I have a eye injury. Done it a few times and it works.

Today is make a pot roast for the family coming over later day. I used a nice cup and a half of Cabernet in it. And am in the process of finishing the bottle. Or rather, had one glass... this stuff is strong mojo!

Ive been thinking about pulled pork for a few days now maybe I will buy a chunk and put it in the crock till tomorrow :D

Yummy! After you post your pics for "Bring your Pet to the Lounge Day" you should do it!

We are having what I hope will turn out to be a nice 7 bone roast bathing in very strong red wine, a can o' diced tomatoes and mirepoix in my doufeo with garlic and a dash o' Worcestershire (thank god for spell check). I am supposed to turn it over in a few hours and add all the other veggies I prepped (fortunately I finished with the knife before I opened the wine).

I need to drink more often, this is embarrassing.
