We had a. Cat for 16 years, that we had to have put to sleep, about 8 months ago, this one was a rescue, from an old woman, that couldn't cope with the size of him, or the cost of feeding him,
Of a night when we're in bed, he gets on top of the duvet, inbetween us, with his back to me, & pushes out with his legs, & moves my DW across the bed, so he has room to sprawl

so, as usual this morning i'm dabbling in the stock mart. a little up, mostly down, not too horrible, so i run out to do some errands for an hour or so. get back, check the market. HOLY MOG!

nice! i had something sorta similar happen. a while back i bought a prebuilt head from fasttech to put on a clearo to go with one of my old pre-Reo tube mods to sell on the classies.

I was wondering if you got in on Twitter?
I wasn't interested, I just don't feel they are good for long term and didn't want to get my broker mad at me for trading out on a new IPO. All day blah, twitter, blah... they got all happy they could finally roll out a major IPO without glitches. It was my impression that was their damn job?

So now the rest of the market tanks. At least yesterday was a decent day for me. I am not even going to tally my losses for today, that is no fun at all. I think I am ready for my 2nd glass of wine now with all this depressing talk.

nah. no TWTR for me. in the 90's i was heavily invested in tech, since, as a Silicon Valley guy, that was pretty much what i knew. the collateral damage from the dot.com crash was... seriously unpleasant. i'm actually pretty conservative now, even tho i'm a frequent trader.

the optionshouse account that i do most of my daily trading in is funded by money that, thanks to a fortunate turn of events, did not have to go toward medical and other bills. since coming to Reoville, i refer to it as my "Woodvil$ fund", hence the original post
