The Lounge is starting to sound like an Out-Patient ward ! Kay, I have never broken a bone (maybe a finger, maybe) but I do hope it will heal quickly. Just pretend to be a rich heiress, you know- float a few rumors, and you should find someone who'll take the bait and fetch coffee for at least a few days! :laugh: Gil, when I was in my late twenties I walked into the doctor's office with 'a bad cold that won't go away'. I had walking pneumonia. I had still worked, that day even. This was on a Wednesday. When the Doc said "If you're not better by Friday I will send an ambulance to your house with strict orders to carry you to the Hospital." I realized this is no laughing matter. Apparently it is serious stuff, and I would recommend listening to your doc and following the suggestions made by competent medical professionals- not some old trucker on the ECF !
I hope the best for both of you. Keep in touch (we'll wait for Kay. one hand typing must take time)

I just was released from the hospital where I was admitted Wednesday evening with Pneumonia. The doctors thinks I may have COPD (chronic bronchitis). Once Im better from the antibiotics I'll go in for further testing. In any case no vaping for me till I know for sure.

Im hoping I can still vape if the news is favorable if not I have to make sone hard decisions about what to do with my REOs. My wife won't allow any temptations around if I get any bad news. :( I don't want to be one of those people that have to drag a oxygen tank behind me.

@Lisa
I haven't forgot about that VV wood Gepetto I promised you and Wayne I just been too busy with the move. :)

Gil, sorry to hear about that. I had a bout of pneumonia a few years ago, and was diagnosed with early stage COPD. Of course, not long after being released from the hospital, i picked up smoking :facepalm: In the 6+ months i've been vaping exclusively, many of the side-effects have disappeared. Haven't had to use a puffer since starting vaping.

After bragging to my doc how much better off i felt since starting vaping, she merely grumbled "and when are you going to quit that?"

Doctors' attitudes about vaping seems to be a crapshoot. I hope yours are at least educated on the subject.

Since my doctor's last prescription was precisely what put me in a hospital in the first place, you'll understand my reluctance to go back! I got a hospital doc to sign for a year's worth of something else.

It's dinner time so i'll just say that i am, however grateful that they were satisfied with the PSA readings of a blood test rather than the more err, invasive methodology they seem to practise. :blink:

Today's vape-mail: some precision scales so i can DIY by weight. Cool.

Hoping for the best news for you.

btw do you take any kind of inhalers?

Another thing is have you tested yourself for PG or VG allergies or sensitivity issues. Why i ask is when i use anything with VG i have breathing problems where i get asthma attacks/shortness of breath and my lungs actually hurt even though i don't inhale the vapor.

I tested myself and now i am on PG based nic juice i do not suffer except infrequently. Plus i quit using flavors all the time so that helped me also. ymmv

No inhalers except when I was young. No allergies luckily. Hopefully I won't have to quit but I have done it before. :)

I don't even have a primary doctor here yet. I have only seen the emergency doctor at the hospital. My old doc was a fan of vaping if it meant quitting smoking. ;)
