Good morning REOvil! Sorry to read about Gil and Kay not feeling well. :( Healing thoughts headed out!

Got back from my folks late last night. Hanging out with the old(er) folks wore me plum out! Shopping, eating, shopping, waxing a truck, playing with the feisty terrier pack. Had a blast yesterday hitting all the antique shops in one of the many small towns by them.

Happy to be home and plan on doing as little as possible today.

Morning REOville

I just was released from the hospital where I was admitted Wednesday evening with Pneumonia. The doctors thinks I may have COPD (chronic bronchitis). Once Im better from the antibiotics I'll go in for further testing. In any case no vaping for me till I know for sure.

Im hoping I can still vape if the news is favorable if not I have to make sone hard decisions about what to do with my REOs. My wife won't allow any temptations around if I get any bad news. :( I don't want to be one of those people that have to drag a oxygen tank behind me.

@Lisa
I haven't forgot about that VV wood Gepetto I promised you and Wayne I just been too busy with the move. :)

Good Day Fine REO Folk. Gil, beaming loads of positive to you. Kaypers, you too girlie.

I've been laid down by influenza since Tuesday. Got last dog to new vet Tues evening but was so fuzzy driving back to new place I was a danger to myself and fellow drivers. Spent all Wed at new place hardly leaving bed and drug myself home that evening. It then dawned on me why I was so very much hurting all over and sleepy and exhausted. Influenza does not always involve upper respiratory involvment so frequently no stuffy, sneezy, coughing to give hints as what is wrong.

So dragged home. DH put turkey back in freezer and proceeded to bring me water and soothing, easy to eat foods till this a.m.

Feeling remarkably better today but not going to over do it. I can't afford to be sick any days now let alone many.

Hope everyone had a good holiday.

Find and give some happy.

Simple chart, cold vs flu symptoms. I hesitated taking prescription antiviral as it interfere s with flu shot working (I haven't gotten one yet) but DH insisted I take it. I agreed. Have chest pain but does not seem congested. I learned my lesson years ago, after flu, where I over extended, major, and it went into bacterial pneumonia. Feisty learned lesson.

Sorry to hear you aren't well Alice. I send healing beams your way, all the way to Texas. Rest up, take it easy and get the old man to pamper you as much as possible.

Thanks much. I can now walk without getting dizzy (but no fast turns), splitting headache down to dull, body all over pains greatly reduced. My assignment, from DH, for today is PL statements, timeline projections, and budgeting projections (along with current financial situation) all hard copy for DH. He's feeling quite insecure being so in the dark. Enough to kick this girl into flu relapse.

I'm upstairs having coffee and tea sorting some stuff. Have to build up some confidence before hitting the books. And procrastination, my most mastered skill has kicked in big time.

    Hello REOville!

Gil, Kay and Alice: Healing thoughts heading your way! Sorry you are not feeling well :(

For everyone else, please stay safe, warm and healthy! Today is brunch day then the Walking Dead mid-season finale marathon. I always love a marathon, but I don't like that it won't be back on for the rest of the season until 2014 :(

Have a great last day of the holiday weekend!

    Happy Sunday! :)

Watching Red Tails and getting ready to work the living room over. We have become slack in our duties and every horizontal surface in here is covered in random minutia. Need to clean and organize before I bring Christmas out.

Sorry to hear you are ill, Alice...but good on ya for staying down. I hope you get better soon.

Glad to see you typing again, Kay. :)

Yeah Alice, it looks like TX is getting hit regionally.....I keep my eyes glued to this until around Feb..it is VERY accurate:

CDC - Seasonal Influenza (Flu) - Weekly US Map: Influenza Summary Update

looks like some spotty activity in Maine, but Vermont and New Hamphire not hit yet....although that could mean that they don't have good reporting practices there, or that people don't seek medical attention, etc.

It is always interesting to me (as a virus tracker :)) to watch how things spread over the course of a few weeks, on maps.

Probably a little. :) Depends on how much the difference is. If you're only going up say half an ohm, then the difference may not be noticed as much.

I am going to try 3.0 ohm coils

yes, but your coil will take longer to heat up.

    T

hmm so i will be holding down the fire button longer and that uses battery power also. amirite

dang i just want my battery to last for a whole bottle of juice. is that possible?

sorry about my lack of caps but my shift key doesn't work most of the time and when i use the caps lock i forget to turn it off and end up typing all caps
