Gatlin loves the cold Paul seems to be adjusting to the cold ok he is only 16 after all at that age they are all stupid and don't know any different
We hit the 50's todayIt's looking like snow for the weekend though

We had 3 new kids move in today, they're kinda cute.
Grandkids are gonna go nuts over these lil' guys Saturday.
We got another doe ready to drop some more pretty soon.
I was really surprised at triplets, seem all healthy.

Nah. Only like... 8 months out of the year. But those other 4 months, yeaaahh baby. SO nice.

I'm from Cali originally too. Never have acclimated to the desert heat here in Phoenix (been stuck here for a decade). But I'd have to say there's no real reason to consult a weather report once you get past May. You're basically going to spend your time indoors by the air conditioner till November, so you just make your peace with it and find new ways to entertain yourself. Like the Internet

i spent a few summers somewhere between Flag and Phoenix working on a ranch, back in the 70's. it was my weight-loss program
one winter, i talked a Flagstaff buddy into heading out to the sticks to go practice shooting. bad, bad idea... that was my first introduction to black ice, blinding snow flurries, and 3600 degree spins (360 degrees x 10). we haven't talked much since...

To me, Phoenix is to hot as where I was born and partly raised is to cold, namely Red Lake, MN, a Rez about 45 miles below Manitoba/Ontario Provinces in Canada. Colder than a mother-in-laws kiss, the 3 I had, as MILs that is, proves the rule. One of 'em was the cheif test pilot for Bissell Broom, she always filed IFR.
