The REO Lounge - Part III

Not going to say usual "good day fine reo folk." I'm shocked, disgusted, and confused as to why I have not received even one PM after my announcements that I'm having to depart with some of my huge, special collection of WOOD REOs. So I'm, again, ...... that hardly anyone seems to read my posts or pays attention to. Your loss folks. So no warning when listed and ya'll get to fight over them and risk not having choice of prime Woods. (I am in the club of "earliest REOnaughts" and have one of the largest collections going back to gen 1 Woody, and used to be considered one of the most knowledgeable Wood REO enthusiast.)(I stopped reporting numbers, Woods and Metals, when I reached 30 count. That was a long time ago.)

I am in the middle of a life altering move and I've lost 5 days, down with influenze, had a relapse and still down, and stuck over at new place due to illness and weather conditions soooooooooooo I have even less ability, time, and energy to answer many PMs; my gain that no one paid attention and spread the word. Hey, even if you don't care for or about me at least consider other REOnaughts who might have been interested in obtaining special and rare Wood REOs, all in near or pristine condition.

That's all I'm gonna say on subject.

I would, also, like to add that this has been a very hard year. I have had little time to give advice or answer questions but there are a lot of people, new and old, who are most excellent advisers so I am not needed. But who gives a chit anyway.

Oh Alice, I am so sorry you relapsed! When I heard about the weather I thought of you and was hoping you would be able to stay out of it and come through unscathed.

I don't think it was that people don't read your posts, I think it may be more about the upcoming woods Rob is making, and the time of year. I know my finances are tight with all the end of year stuff. It's just terrible timing is all.

And I PM'd you, don't I count?

I hope you feel better soon, and things start to go better for you with the move, your illness and the weather

Alice I went back and read your posts to see where I missed that announcement. Even though I am a metal head I would almost bet some people did not get it. We do all read each others posts and do take your advise/friendship to heart. Hoping that you know you are loved and a big part of our family here.

I think in this case she has so much on her plate right now it is a lot of stress! She is tired, cold, ill, moving, rehoming her precious dogs and it's the holidays to boot. I think she deserves our hugs.

But she may enjoy a spanking from you more than a hug from me

I read everyones posts and love reading and knowing about how people are doing in their life. Sometimes i answer but lately not so much.

Alice and everyone who are encountering difficulties and pain (hugs) I think of you often and hope for your lives to improve as much as possible.

Hope everyone has some smiles and even laughs everyday because it is true laughter is the best medicine. I get a lot of laughter from reading the posts on this forum as well as tears. We need both to stay balanced mentally.

I use to spend half the day here but for months I've pop in maybe once or twice a week. Im so sorry I missed your posts concerning your current situation. As someone who may have to leave the scene for medical reasons and just went thru a huge move I understand why you would feel this way. How I feel about you is important to me which should be evident when I just barely beat you out on a classy sale of a stabilized VV. Your a special REO old-timer here and your knowledge, posts and love of REOs would be sorely missed. I can only hope things change and you'll be around here for a long time.


EDIT: Everyone should know how you and Karen too how well you take care of your wood REOs and anyone lucky enough to get one should considered to be privileged.

He's a weird one but he's a good dog he'd never do the likes if he did he'd be so embarrassed he's very good at letting me know when he's been bad Ive had to wander around before to see what it is he did because he tells me before I even know he was bad sometimes
