Wish I could hire you for free, I'm still in the same apartment I smoked in for several years. I imagine when we move, can kiss that security deposit goodbye

True, but it's also the last time that'll happen. Now you'll have to keep future apartments up a little better since you won't have that blanket excuse to dismiss your deposit any more.

Quick drop by. Out to inspect grounds for downed trees then back in to make some super coils. A little while ago Moe Doodle, I'm sure thinking he was doing me a favor equalizing my knee damage, clipped my left knee with his shoulder running out the door. This one only hurt at a #9 but I don't think it's permanent like the right knee he ran into full blast a couple of years ago. That one was a #20 on pain scale. And instead of new left hurting much, now, old right is throbbing. Can we say "referred pain"?

BIG DUH!! I just realized, last night what my main handicap is to making rebuildable coils is....... http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...eomizer-2-rebuild-tutorial-4.html#post9542395 (pics in next post down from link.)

Carry on.

This is for FEEDER... or any one else who may be thinking of getting a Killer.

(Note: Bob57 and I were exchanging e-mails earlier today, he doesn't have a life so he bothers me all the time with his inane ramblings, and the below discussion is a copy of an e-mail I sent him. I'm way too lazy to retype the whole thing.)

Been testing the Killer clone most of the morning, the jury is still out but so far it's more than worth the twelve-bucks. Have it filled with some DIY juice JCOkie gave me in Ardmore. I think it's a really high VG juice at only 15mg so it doesn't wick all that well and I have to stop and take hits off my 24mg Apple Fritter just so I don't start kicking Dawg.

It came with a 2.4 ohm coil, higher tan I usually build but I cranked up the voltage on the Provari and it's vaping fine. I did discover something I really like over the original Killer though. The tank that comes with this thing is very small and plastic so I didn't put my AF in it because of the cinnamon but I noticed the the drip tip end of the clone is much longer than the original... fits in all my Phiniac glass, XL tanks perfectly. (That saved me from having to buy another IBTanked, tank. (All my Phiniac tanks were custom done with my name and the ranch name so it's nice to get to use them again.

The draw on the clone is a little tighter than the Killer but that might have something to do with the size of the wick they're using. As soon as I'm done with this tank full I'm going to tear it down and rebuild it with 2.0 silica. It's really not all that tight and for most people it's probably pretty close to perfect, I just like a really airy draw. (All my ERA's are drilled out to 1/6th so that tells ya something right there.)

If this thing rebuilds the same way as the Killer I think I'll end up getting at least a couple more of them for my other Provari and one for one of my MVP's... I have 3 Phiniacs so I might as well use them. When my hands flare up, which is getting more and more often it gets really painful, sometimes impossible, to squonk, especially if the bottle is cold and hard so using a tank with the Killers works out pretty good. There really isn't any difference in flavor between using an ERA on a Reo or Red Sky or a Killer, or clone in a tank so that's not really a concern. Even with this thick VG I'm still pretty much able to chain vape without getting dry hits.

Twelve bucks for the clone is a hell of a lot better than seventy-bucks for an original Killer. The design is slightly different but except for the slightly tighter draw they both seem to work identically. BTW, I got the clone from Madvapes. They were sold out a couple of days ago so I don't know if they got more in yet or not, check the website. This thing might make a nice, cheap addition to your Provari.

Me.

Feeder, haven't rebuilt the coil/wick yet, hope to do that tonight or maybe tomorrow morning... I'm enjoying Jan's e-juice in it. So far I really don't see much, if any difference in performance between it and the original Killer except the Killer is higher quality. Gee, what a surprise.

You still have to use the NR wire though?

T

Haven't broken this one down all the way yet but I'm assuming you do or you'll end up with higher resistance than what you want and hot coil legs.

Adding NR wire is really a non-event, once you get by the learning curve it only add a couple of minutes to building a coil and they last so long in the ceramic cup that it either ends up being a push or you actually end up ahead of the game. Besides... it's fun.

Hopefully it wasn't something super sketchy. I heard someone had a dating site charge, but at least their spouse was understanding! I forgot which REOnaut that was?

I have been worrying about Cappy. Sometimes taking all that energy to travel can take it's toll. I sure hope everything is going as best as it can for both Cappy and Carol.

And for everyone else, I hope you day goes well and your aches and pains are minimal.

Val that was me that got hit with fraud charge to match.com! I had to have my bank close out my credit card and issue a new one. Had a few auto pays coming off that card so had a lot of scrambling to do but all is well now. I think I know which vendor comprimised my card. They had issues with it and it happened right after I had placed an order from them. But not going to mention their name. Hope she gets it all fixed. I know what a headache it can be!

i use a prepaid debit card for all internet buys i make - no money on it - too bad! It also means they cannot just carry on spending till you run out of money.

I was once hit with someone in Ohio trying to use an old card to get a gym membership and even the bank laughed at that! "Trunker would never join a gym - he walks all day - seen more meat on a butcher's pencil" etc.

Renewing cards is a damn nuisance however, $500 in cash to last until the new cards come etc. Identity theft is a laugh - anyone fancy the abuse i get daily?? Nobody is that stupid!

LOL after posting this and reading further into the treads I saw that Pat also posted that it was him that got hit with the match.com charge. Maybe we were dating each other and did not know it! LOL Won't even ask the Hubby to understand that one! Sure make you wonder though......both hit by match.com!

Make that 3 of us. Mine was 3-4 months ago. Guess this hacker is the same guy and very..VERY lonely.:glare:

I posted earlier that CCs are better than debit (so the banks say) and because debit cards are tied to your checking but prepaid cards are the safest by far. Just load on them what you want to buy.
