OK. I'm ready to start complaining about the heat again!

When I used attys I would clean them by soaking in 91% Isopropanol for about 30 minutes, then rinsing in HOT water and then allow to dry, upright, overnight.

There's no point in letting them dry overnight. That water is juice soluble. (so is the ISO)

Letting an atty sit overnight and rust shortens the life of the coil. Once an atty has been used (wire heated) it should never be left out/stored without a protective coating on the coil. e-liquid provides that coating.

All I do is blow the water out, blow a couple of drops of PG through the atty, and then put the atty on a PV and vape away.

Thanks, I'm not quite ready for RBAs so Im using an atty but I get it ;)

    Good morning REOville!

Papaw and Mamaw, so sorry about your furbaby

Kat, when I used regular atties, I just rinsed in hot water, blew them out and started dripping. I never bothered with much else, but then I didn't use cinnamon or flavors that lingered much. With the REO, you just change out the bottle and blow out the tube. I don't change flavors on mine anymore, I found my ADV. RDA's are what you want (rebuildable dripping atty) with the hole in the bottom and aren't as difficult to do as you think, some of the RBA's were tricky especially with the mesh, but since you just use a fiber or ceramic wick they are really easy. Rob's RDA, the RM2, is really easy to do and there are several videos that get pretty involved with a bunch of tools and things that make it look much more complicated than it has to be. Really, the only thing you need is an ohms checker and if you have some other tube mod than can check ohms you can even use that. I just wind it around whatever is handy and often just use a toothpick. I put a cotton "bed" underneath it and it works great. Or I will use the ceramic and just free hand wrap it. The only thing you need is the wire, wick (a cotton ball) and an ohms checker to get a great vape. :)

Master of Bassets...and not much else.
Doing good how are you Mike. Had to go to store to get milk and sausages home $70 lighter :( oh well we will eat for a couple days so long as I ration the stepson. I have to teach the bugger how to eat yesterday he ate the families bacon for Sunday morning all in one sitting. He's a gluttonous pig. Tomorrow he stacks fire wood might as well work for the food.
