Good Morning REOVille. A little sad here today. Cody, our Shetland Sheepdog, passed away overnight. A 'rescue dog' we got in '05, we guess his age to be 13 or 14. He hasn't been himself for months, stopped eating several days ago and wouldn't drink water yesterday. When I saw him lying there I told Mamaw "I don't think he's going to make it through the night." At least he's at peace now. Looks like Papaw has burial duties once the sun comes up.
Anyways, I do hope everyone has a Safe and Blessed Day
EDIT- (8:26 am) That Carolina red clay gets hard when it's dry, but it's done. Still have Lily, our 5 year old Beagle, and Urlacher, my son's 3 year old Shepherd, so Mamaw is adjusting....
I'm very sorry for your loss Brett. It's always hard saying goodbye to our furry friends.

My usual Tuesday at work chore is grocery shopping. I was dreading it today. Had to wait till one of my two left with family.
What a freakin' madhouse! Cars, carts, and way too many people!
I think I got everything needed. Sure hope so.
Did find some marked down ribeye's and loin chops. And even a $1.99 sweet potato pie!
No way in hell I am going anywhere else until Thursday! This work week can't end too soon!

HRH was only too happy to go shopping, but she is making an apple pie as i loaf about planning how to mug Santa.

I think we're doing dinner with my sister and we'll go there in the morning. We have to be at the Detroit airport at 12:30am to pick up the boy. It's gonna be a long night, but well worth it

We celebrate both days. We have enough family that we need both days to filter everyone through the house. Most are coming over today. The rest go home tomorrow. And prime rib dinner tomorrow will be just me, Teagan & Wayne. Tonight, we're feeding the masses finger food and pizza. Seriously..that's what they asked for.

The FDA will not intervene for some time and i'll drink to that! Sure miss the week long holidays you get Frank; i get 2 days, which explains my willingness to let HRH run riot.

I'm off for 13 days in total, but on call for all of them, nobody was willing to cover any of them, so I was conned into doing them
