So I'm now officially spoiled by the RM2 and my Hornets and nothing else works as good for me so I will be putting up my Surface rba's, A7 minis, and ERA's in the classys. While I love the ability to blind squonk on the Surface and A7 Mini's the draw is just WAY to tight for me after use the side air holes drilled to 1/16" and the A7's are just way to prone to shorting out my mechanical Reos hell I've spent more on collapsed springs then I paid from them! and while I LOVE the ERA's I have the V1's and you must be very careful not to over tighten them and crush the 510 connector gasket which in turns means they don't sit snug like I like them (yes I'm picky) and while I may prefer the look of my Hornet's better the RM2 is nearly half the price and has TONS of room inside not to mention sold by 1 of my FAVORITE vendors and if he's willing to put his name on it and sell it on his site I will buy it !!!

Thinking out loud over:blink::D

RM2's have altered the landscape a little. They are fairly cheap compared to just about anything else and are easy. I have asked before - but an ERA needs an allen wrench to recoil? I prefer just screws. I ask cos HRH is going - ooh that looks nice (damn magpie!)

Hex heads can be swapped out for phillips...I could easily find some for you on ebay if I knew the size i.e. stainless steel M2 x 4mm :)

you're kind hun, but i'd need an ERA first - i am comparing ERA to Hornets - i like the look of the Hornet more, but i am, as you know bone idle and want easy. I like my RM2s but i get fidgety with nothing to do!

I asked because i have a tank that can only be undone with allen keys and a screw to refill it - and it's such a royal pain in the ...., i never bother with it!

I think we have both types here, the large stripe ones and smaller all black ones. Thought the all black were juveniles, shows how much I know about bugs :facepalm:. Haven't heard much of West Nile being here though...I better check on that

edit: Yep no reported cases yet....whew!!!

I am a mosquito magnet, and keep a nice supply of deet bug spray. I keep some in my car, repellent wipes in my purse, a can on the front porch, and a few cans in the house. Mostly, I try to avoid being out while they are out, but when I do have to be out w/ them I SPRAY!! Otherwise, the bites swell up to a quarter size and I itch like mad!! I also have bug candles on the front porch and tiki torches out back. I've tried the deet free stuff, but it doesn't work for me.

Okay, so I'm a little OCD about it. I just hate getting bitten.

Haven't heard of West Nile in my region, but there have been reported cases in Indiana.

Well B vitamins are relatively safe since they are water soluble and excess are secreted quickly through normal body function. I don't like spraying chemicals on myself too and highly suggest a regimen of taking multiple (B-50, B-100) B vitamins 2x-3x/day depending on dosage. My pee is a dark yellow in color so I'm pretty sure I'm maxed out and have had no side effects. The USDA minimum is a joke and peeps should use much more. Doing this for about 12 years because of my nerve damage (doc recommended), anyone diabetic or borderline should get some right away, believe me, peripheral neuropathy ain't fun and nerves don't heal.

I also implore folks to check out Vitamin D3 and Curcumin aka Turmeric. Folks, these are cheap supplements. D3 boosts your immune system and Curcumin helps prevent cancer, don't trust the FDA or govt for health info.
