HA!!! Turns out I already have some of this stuff! I bought a spool of NR wire from a young lady on the classifieds last week, (have bought from her before), and she sent me a PM that she was going to include a little surprise in the package.

She included 2 ceramic cups for my Killers and about 3 feet of the biggest 'silica' I had ever seen. Apparently she thought I owned an aircraft carrier that needed to be tied up to a dock. I just went over to my DIY area and pulled it out... it looks like it's the 3mm Ecowool. (See, I've been telling you guys the ladies love me... you never believe anything I say.)

I wasn't really sure what to do with it since it's hollow and flat so its just been sitting around but now Frank has given me an idea of how to work with it. (I'm not giving Super_X credit for anything... we'll never hear the end of it.)

May re-wick a couple of the ERA's today just for grins and giggles.

If your gonna use 3mm in the killer, put it in single, & wrap one end. Of the ekowool around the centre post, as you push the cup on, that works as well

    Glad to see horselady okay.

Electricity back on. Charging stuff back up. Hoping to get out for bulbs for lanterns. Need a spark plug for one of the generators. We are under tornado watch and probable severe storms but pretty prepared for most. Bubs need food so have to go out. Beaming out healing and strength. Feisty Alice

Lots of severe tornadoes have hit all around our area in past 150 years coming close. May be specific terrain of escarpment. But we can't really count on that as 1850s, my town was county seat until tornado wiped out town. County seat moved to Dallas. Most usual is straight line winds up to and over 100 mph. They do damage but nothing like what tornadoes do. My heart goes out to all those who are hurting. Praises to first responders. Feisty Alice

Can any of you fine folk help me with a bit of advise
I want an rba to fit on the 14500 mini, rob has offered to turn anRM2 down to fit, but I have a problem, with chrome, it tends to make me unwell, so I tend to use only SS.
What I'm after is an SS rba, that is easy to coil, that will fit on a mini, I've looked at the miniA7, but after reading the threads on it, I'm reluctant to get one, could you recommend any others for me
    Thanks
    Frank
By the way, I don't like an airy draw

    Morning, afternoon, evening Peeps!!

Please stay safe all who are in harms way. I've been through +120mph winds (hurricane) and its nutting like a tornado. Our tornadoes here mostly form/stay off shore (water spouts) and heard of a small one once that lasted a couple of minutes which landed and damaged a few homes years ago. Been through several tornado watches (Missouri) but none materialized, lucky me.......had no idea what the sirens were for the first couple of times.

Anyone with comments on this dog. Australian Shepherd/Heeler. No experience with either of the xbreeds here.....lol, I'm getting too analytical.

I was gonna post on that but lost my place earlier. Good dogs crazy hyper usually. Can't speak to their guard dog abilities. I'm sure they are noisy but they all seem rather delicate IMO. But then I'm a black lab kinda guy did I say black ? Black is the most feared color spiritually and especially with the criminals. They are especially menacing at night when all the perps can see is lots of shiny white teeth

Heelers are cattle dogs developed in Australia for hardiness and intelligence. Dingo in the breeding process. They are typically very independent and headstrong. I wouldn't classify them as hyper rather active and they need jobs to stay out of trouble. My girls are the first to alert but they are mainly alarm rather than protection. Mine are major people lovers but don't act silly for attention like other people pleasing dogs. (I would not put the breed in the people pleasing category although they are very trainable.) My girls are very affectionate and snuggly but they were raised as lap dogs. Inkdog, our REOnaut dog-whisperer, has a fabulous ACD who helps him run the kennel and with training.

Australia Shepards or A. Sheep Dogs were developed in US. They are usually a softer dog than Heelers. They are also active dogs, intelligent, and very trainable. I would think the cross would be very desirable but please socialize with other animals and make sure you can provide them the exercise the need.

I have always had difficulty designating a dog as "outside." With rare exceptions they want and need to be with their humans. I also hesitate to have only one dog working for security as it poses more danger to the dog. Much easier to take a lone dog out quietly than two or more. When we had large "packs," past 30 years, we rotated a group outside, every 8 hours or so, with heated/cooled shelter. One or more were usually patroling and would alert the sleeping dogs. We have only five now but the pack is so ballanced all can be together 24/7. They have full time access via doggie door and one is most often near the door listening to alert. I'm not advocating a pack but there is more safety in numbers. A dog that has a little mistrust of strangers can be a positive as far as alerting, getting hurt, or getting snatched. Don't let anyone but immediate family give treats.

    Gotta run. Weather getting nasty.

    Hugs, Feisty Alice

You want my recipe? It's yours:
I use as little PG as possible, but the flavors are PG so just make the base however you want. All flavors are TFA EXCEPT THE CARAMEL and it is important that you use DIYflavorshacks caramel. I used the other and it was "yucky".

    RY4 Double: 6%
    Caramel: 3%
    Vanilla: 1%
    Graham Cracker: 1%
    Peanut Butter: 1.5%

add one drop of Wizard Labs Acetyl Pyrazine per 5 ml.

and that is it. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

ETA: I think the AP is the same from wherever you get it, mine is just labeled WL. Here is the flavor profile:
    Acetyl Pyrazine 5% (PG)
    taste description:
at 10.00 ppm. Roasted, nutty, bready and yeasty, with popcorn and corn chip nuances
good for graham gracker flavors (enhancer)

Just wanted to stop by and say thank you for the recipe. I've been vaping it all day and it's excellent! It's definitely going in the keeper pile of recipes. Thanks!!

My most protective and menacing dog is a black Labradoodle.

Heelers are extremely tough dogs. Shepards were originally bred to work ranches so had to be tough. But now days most dogs are not carefully bred for the work they were originally developed to do. BTW... I've seen many more truely hyper Labs than Heelers and Sheep Dogs. There is a big difference between active and hyper. My girls are just as laid back as Jake Mastiff but wake up faster and mostly move at a faster clip when they are on the move. There are now 5 Heelers in our neighborhood and a few more Ausie Sheep Dogs. None are hyper, even the young ones. I kind of relate "hyper" with nervous and out of control. I rarely see that in Heelers or well bred Shepards with proper exercise.

My wife's lhasa apso/shih tzu mix has "little dog syndrome". He loves to rough-house and is constantly trying to assert his dominance over everyone in the family. I make sure he always submits when he challenges me. The cat is his arch enemy and he gives her a wide berth. She's too old and ornery to tolerate any of his nonsense.

Still, he's pretty sweet and loveable. :p

Thank you so much Alice, you are a fountain of info . I'm gonna take a look see in a couple of hours, the seller still has all 7 available. Says some have longer coats like the shepherds and some shorter like the Heelers. He wanted $500 but willing to go $400 because vet physical and first shot will be $400 cost for him. Full docs of physical and shot will be provided. Two of them would be great, but so much money going towards new home makes this tough. Still haven't heard of Min Pin that I would also be getting. I think under 2 years old, female and spayed. It lives at the Hilton Hawaiian Village, the owner one of the managers whose gonna have to return to the mainland.
