Afternoon everyone, hope its been a good one. Humid as all heck here the last couple of days.
Going out to my Mom and Dads for a picnic tonight and a swim in the pond. I think I'm going to show my Dad a few of my mods. Almost 3 years vaping and he's never seen them, I think he will be impressed with a few of them. I know he will be impressed with my cocobolo trio of wood REOs.
Anywho I've finished all my projects around the house and was so bored I spent a couple of hours cutting wire.
Made a little spool holder and a jig and chopped it with the paper cutter ..... slide - chop ..... slide - chop .... slide - chop .... You get the idea. I cut up a 200 ft roll of 30g and 100 ft of 28g ---- all into 5.5 inch pieces. Gives me enough room to work with my Genesis attys but leaves quite a bit of waste for the Chalice ..... Maybe I can get two out of each one ?? (should have checked that first I guess) But its nice not having to worry about the exploding spool syndrome when i untape it.
My wife won't let me put window fans or air units in our new windows .... something about $8K and wanting them to look new for at least the first year ..... yada-yada ..... and no central air of course so I went and bought 3 tower fans this morning. Its going to be a tough summer for the Old English Sheep Dog. We usually buzz him 2 times during the summer but I think it will be every 4 weeks this year. The first two nights after a buzz he's usually chilly curled up in a ball if I don't cover him but after that he's fine. I've read places not to buzz your dog they are actually cooler with all their hair. Bull pucky!!! Not my big guy. The Labradoodle just gets a little trim .... she never seems hot anyway and if we buzzed her it would take a year to grow back.
Oh well I'm off for a little scooter ride ..... you big bike riders don't know exciting until you've gone 55 mph on 10 inch wheels. Its more thrilling than 110 on big wheels.
