Good (insert time of day) REOvillians!
RHP: Scott's doohickey is so much better than using another PV to check your battery. I didn't think I needed one either, I was using the ProVari but now that I have one I don't know how I lived without it! I don't use a meter either, I check my coils on the ProV or usually the Vamo since it is a one click check and don't have to scroll through the menu.
I had an error come up in my car, it says the passenger safety system is messed up. I didn't want my friend being unsafe, so I took the car to the shop first thing this morning, and they said they needed to keep it to find out if it is something simple, or an $800 sensor in the seat. Something about the computer not being able to talk to whatever component it is, so it may be a short, a fuse, or something loose with the sensor. I asked if it was safe for a passenger, and they said yes. Since I am leaving I told them I would bring it back when I return since it is safe. And if it is an $800 fix, I am just going to leave it. The alarm only comes on when someone is IN the passenger seat, and I usually drive alone anyway. I just spent over that on tires for heaven's sake! I need to dump this car, it is fun to drive and I truly love it, except when it comes to repairs.
With all this running around, my knee is screeching at me. I thought I was doing better, and I know I have no stamina but I didn't expect pain! Rats! I wanted to be all better so I can party in the mountains drinking, cavorting and generally just having fun. I was going to have no worries, since I am a passenger. And now my delusion of being all better is shattered. I sure hope I won't need pain meds, that rules out all fun, I hate them! I bought a folding cane a while ago that fits in the saddle bag so at least I will be prepared for all that cavorting after we ride
