Well good to hear. I never met the guy but always got a kick out of his posts. Hopefully nothing bad has happened. Just makes you worry when all his posts stop coming in.

Hello all. It is with a very heavy heart that I am letting you know that our dear Jack passed away this past Saturday, June 1st. According to his daughter, he went dancing as usual Friday night and came home afterwards. She spoke to him earlier that evening and he was happy and his usual self. He suffered a heart attack after coming home later during that night.

Dear Lord, I can't believe in such a thing......not like this. There were so many things I wanted to talk to the guy about and envy all who personally got to meet him. I was surely blessed to have known such a fine man and proud to have known him. Sorry gang, can't talk right now the pain is overwhelming.......
So sorry to hear this. I did not know him well but he impressed me with his humor and his ideals. May he rest in peace, and the joy and laughter he brought all of us live on in his memory.

I have inquired about the services and will share the information with everyone the moment I hear back from his daughter. I posted a memorial thread with a copy of the PM his daughter sent me minus the email contact information. I will update that thread and here when I have more information.
I have spoken with Alice on the phone to let her know as well. She said she will most likely be online tonight as she needs some time to process and try to cope somehow.

Hey Rob, since you're in contact with his daughter, when the time is appropriate (up to you), let her know that Jack would most likely have been thrilled if his Reo/vape gear collection could be passed on to friends and family members looking for a terrific tool to help them cut back or quit smoking.
I would happily provide any tech support and guidance to any interested parties via e-mail, Skype, text, etc. Please let her know I volunteer my services in that regard.
Helping people is one of the most rewarding aspects of my life. I jump at the opportunities as they present themselves. And I very much want to honor Jack in this way if I'm able!

That's a good point Mudflap. That IS what Jack would have wanted. I am not sure she would understand though unless she is a vaper as well. Very delicate thing to bring up. The last thing in the world I want is for her or her family to feel like we are vultures trying to get his stuff. I will see how the contact goes and work on a tactful and respectful way to broach the subject when the time is right.

Full agreement. I don't want his stuff nor do I believe anyone here would want it under these circumstances, but if it went to smokers that were part of his life and willing to giving vaping a shot, they'd need some help. I'd like offer that help if it were to work out that way. I'm not going anywhere. All in good time, my friend.
