Morning all. I called Kay about 45 minutes ago and left her a voicemail with the sad news. I hope it softens the blow a little bit rather than 'hearing' about it first on the screen.
Christina, I have been trying so hard to think of all the positive memories of Jack and be happy for him that he is not hurting any more and all of you sharing a thought here, a memory there helped but your post put me over the edge and allowed me to smile and even chuckle for a moment for the first time. This is the first online community I've really spent much time in and felt part of. I read the news about jack late last night and it's been on my mind a lot today. I just went in search of his book on amazon and ordered it. Amongst other things I just learned he was a dog handler in the Air Force. Really cool!

thanks for trying to reach me about our Jack....I'm sad for us that we won't be blessed with his unigue company anymore, but very happy for him that he's free of the pain so he can kick up his heels in the sunshine and actually chase the ladies, not just talk about it.

It really is a great read!
My only regret is not asking him for a signed hardcopy....it really is that good and deserves a spot on my shelf. I may just read it again after this production cycle is over....
