Can you loan Kindle books I think they are locked to the device. I only have the Kindle app so I don't know.

I think you can loan a kindle book once. I think after two weeks its not readable to the person its loaned to. Someone correct me if i'm wrong. I havent loaned any out yet.

You can put the Kindle for PC app on your computer ad read it there.
I want to get it to read! Although I don't have a kindle I guess I will go to Amazon to get it. Wonder if they have it available in large print???? Usually not until later in the printing is it available large print. Used to have a kindle because I could change the font size but it is no longer working. Guess I may just have to strain these old eyes thru my bifocals! LOL Only for Jack!

lt, you are right. I didn't realize you could only loan it once. :(

I have to renig on my offer because I've already loaned it out to a friend earlier this year. I can't loan it again. That's a bummer!

Sorry guys.

New feature for the kindle. That is cool. Learn something new everyday :)

It's a nice option but it's the pitts you can only do it once though. I didn't know that when I first loaned it out.

I'll have to ask my friend if she read it and sent it back to me or if it came back to me by itself. If it came back to me without her knowing that, I'll have her delete it from her kindle and see if I can re-loan it.

Never thought to get the pc version of it. I have the acct with several books on there that I purchased. Had the old paper white version kindle and just could not swing getting another one at this time. Great idea. Thank You And no Amazon does not have the Large Print version available so maybe on the PC would be best!

I got a copy of Jack's book right before the vape meet. When Rob handed it to him and asked him to sign it for us he looked at me and said "why in the hell did you pay 20 bucks for this crappy book, you could have gotten it on kindle for 4 bucks, gheesh!" My reply? "I've spent 20 bucks on a lot of crappy books before but never gotten it signed by the author and got to spend the night with him...sign the dam* book!" I have a signed book

HRH copies them all to her computer and then reads them on HER tablet ( that's like HER mini - if you follow me).

But she's firmly from the school of marriage that runs 'What's yours is mine and what's mine is my own!'

It's also possible to get your email on a Kindle too! "pack it in trunker - you're showng the geeky side" "yesdear".

I get books through my local library and the Philadelphia free library unfortunately Jack's book is not listed on either. I use the kindle app so I can read on my computer, tablet,or phone and the app keeps my place, I can pick up my spot on in the book on any device at any time.

For the last 20 years anything i have read has been rather technical in nature and they are the most horrifically expensive books to buy. My father has a massive library of books and when i was of reading age - he sat me down and showed me how to use them; and then refused to answer any questions except with "look it up"!

Now ofc Google is all you need!

I gave HRH the tablet because it was tedious and i never got used to all that swiping and dragging and whatnot. I'd just look at the weather and play golf. I much prefer my keyboard.

with the slight exception of your rather ominous avatar, it seems your father's approach resulted in a highly intelligent, very independent minded son.
I will use that approach next time my kids try to get me to do their homework!

I found one of his club photos and worked it over a bit to ease up on the distracting background.

I think that REOville's dudes should include a bit of manly salmon somewhere in next week's wardrobe;)! Thanks for taking some time to include the great photo, Lisa!
